USATF and You

The image of a track & field athlete of any age

calls to mind speed, beauty, fitness and grace in

motion. Ours is the basis of nearly every sport and

is one of the most broadly influential lifestyle

sports in the United States, with millions of young

track and cross country athletes and 30 million

Americans who will go running at some point this

year – 10 million of them with regularity.

USA Track & Field is a family of participants,

coaches, events, event directors, volunteers and

their families who live in, and travel to, every

corner of the country.
