we are FIT FOR LIFE…The Transition class has

partnered with Fitness 2000 and Show Up Fitness to

collaboratively teach students with special needs the importance of exercise

as well as work skills.

The Transition students do volunteer work at Fitness

2000 in exchange for a free one day a week membership.

Show Up Fitness is a school

for prospective personal trainers. Chris Hitchko, the

owner of the school brings a team of 6 – 9 student

trainers to Fitness 2000. Chris and his students teach the Transition students the importance of exercise as well as proper form and

brave in the attempt.” - Special Olympics

motto

we are PHILANTHROPISTS…

The mission of the transition program is

to develop well rounded individuals who are productive

citizens that give back to the community

which supports them.

Students are taught the meaning of philanthropy by

arranging bouquets of flowers which are

donated from a local grocery store.

The flowers are delivered to

convalescent homes, businesses, and

residents of the Dublin community.
