description

I just wanted to give everyone a better idea of what some children have to go through and to hopefully open some eyes.

We are the world, is this how we

should let people live?

Page 2: We Are The World.

Over 24,000 children die every day around the world.

Page 3: We Are The World.

That is equivalent to: 1

child dying every 3.6

seconds.

Page 4: We Are The World.

It is equivalent to a 2010 Haiti earthquake

occurring almost every 10 days.

Page 5: We Are The World.

We complain when someone gets us Evian

water instead of Dasani….. They’re just happy they can drink

something.

Page 6: We Are The World.

We complain that our parents are too

overprotective of

us…..At least we have

them.

Page 7: We Are The World.

One in six

African children

dies before the age of five.

Some of these deaths

could be prevente

d.

Page 8: We Are The World.

These children would love to have someone. Someone to feed them. Someone to hold them. Someone to watch over them. Just. Someone.

Page 9: We Are The World.

Are we really going to sit back and watch these children die?

Page 10: We Are The World.

Are we

really going to sit back and

watch them cry?

Page 11: We Are The World.

They’re starving and hungry.

They just wan

t one bite.

Page 12: We Are The World.

Would you be able to live like this?

Page 13: We Are The World.

These kids

struggle every single day of

their lives and push as long as they

can. They’re super

human.

Page 14: We Are The World.

They don’t get

a childhood. They have to grow up

very fast. A lot of them

without parents.

Page 15: We Are The World.

And the ones that do have parents, they can’t do much. All they can do is hope they have one more day.

Page 16: We Are The World.

All they can do is hope someone

comes for them

.

Page 17: We Are The World.

We complain when we don’t get our Nike shoes and have to settle with Adidas.

Page 18: We Are The World.

These kids want better

but they don’t know anythi

ng else.

Page 19: We Are The World.

Sometimes, children

would rather die than live another

day.

Page 20: We Are The World.

Is this really

how the world was

supposed to end

up?

Page 21: We Are The World.

What can we do to

help them?

They want someone. They need someone. They’ve

got nothing.

We’ve got everything

. What. Can. We.

Do.
