Making a Differencein theJourneyof Life
Dear Founders:
Thank you for celebrating Cristo Rey St. Martin’s virtual 2020 Founders’ Dinner with us. Whether this is your first introduction to CRSM or you have supported us throughout the last 16 years, you are a Founder. Because of you, we are inspiring young men and women to develop their God-given talents and to change their community.
While it is odd not to be physically together, we are so grateful to celebrate our mission with you and invite you to contribute to it. For the first time in our brief history, 100% of our senior class has been accepted into a four-year bachelor’s program. Before the whole shelter-in-place edict and our transition to an e-learning environment, 90% of the Class of 2020 who started with us on their first day of 9th grade were on schedule to graduate. We assume that will still be the case but so much of our future is unpredictable, especially as we consider the economic implications from this pandemic. One thing is absolutely certain, we cannot plan for the future alone. Now more than ever, access to quality education is desperately needed in Waukegan and North Chicago. In order to continue to provide it, CRSM needs YOU!
You are part of the CRSM community. Whether a donor, or Corporate Work Study Program partner, or friend, please know that you matter – you are important to us. We will be back together soon. This current reality that separates us physically is difficult but necessary. In the meantime, let’s be together spiritually.
By supporting CRSM, you are building something truly important: a better, brighter future!
Stay safe, take care of yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually. Know that we are people who care and we are praying that God protects and blesses you and those you love. Thank you for being part of CRSM. Thank you for bringing hope to our students, their families and this community. Thank you for being as generous as you can be.
We are all better TOGETHER!
Sincerely,
Preston Kendall President Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep
Thank you to the students whose dedication and discipline
inspire us all.
Thank you to Preston Kendall for his leadership
and
Thank you to all of the staff at CRSM
whose hard work and support make so many dreams come true!
