While the rest of the world was still cautiously looking at China, we worked closely with local industries and universities, and at the beginning of 2000’s the first machines were delivered to the Aerospace industry. With the strength of ideas and the courage of innovation we worked in the following years strengthening our position and officially entering as national supplier into the Chinese high-tech aerospace industry. Soon we received precious awards for our brilliant results in research and development. Co-operation with universities and advanced national research centers resulted into the development of highly technological and innovative solutions which quickly and drastically changed production techniques of very high precision components in Inconel, titanium and special alloys for aerospace applications. The final result is that today Manzoni Machinery‘s technology is still unsurpassed.

2011 for Manzoni Machinery has been the year of records. Sales record into Chinese high tech market, the most wanted by all. Export share record, with new countries covered by sales & technical service. And least but not last the event that definitively signed Manzoni Machinery history: the delivery of the super advanced MD-6 a part former for high tensile wires up to 18mm equipped with German wire induction pre-heating. A brand new technology jewel with 190 Tons, capable to form extremely complex automotive parts at high speed. This is a success that comes a lot before the forecast and it was then celebrated with an event to which took part suppliers, local authorities, the Chinese Government’ s director of technology and development department and of course engineers and president of the Indian automotive giant.

With a price of 490.000 EURO including German wire induction pre-heating, this new Part Former arisen great interest among the most important manufacturers of automotive parts: it allows indeed to efficiently manufacture high value parts saving almost 1 Million EURO in capital investment!

Differently from commons traditional headers on the market, that are adapted on the field modifying the existing structures (with all the limits that follow) Manzoni Machinery machines are specifically developed to work in normal conditions with induction wire pre-heating at temperatures over 1.000°C.

Years of researches, practical tests, studies with universities and close co-operations with aerospace companies, led to the implementation of very high technology level solutions into the machines. Every single detail of a Manzoni Machinery part former has been accurately studied in every aspect with attention and care, in order to always guarantee the highest level of efficiency.

The base frame has been developed with an innovative techniques that allows a great reduction of mechanical stress due to thermal gradients, using special materials and a particular pressurized cooling systems.

Wire feeding, the thru central heart of these systems, has been conceived with a new technique able to keep a perfectly constant blank’s length even with high wire temperature variations, impossible to achieve on traditional machines.

A linear wire feeding based on a new kinetic movement designed with special computer simulations, guarantees a blank consistency never seen before avoiding to the operator continuous corrections and adjustments, saving therefore time. Easy to use, electronic controlled, can be quickly setup.

Safety and reliability it’s another strength of Manzoni Machinery machines. Every single adjustable moving element (like kick-out levers on punches and dies, transfer, cams, ecc.) it’s equipped with particulars control sensors that keep constantly monitored the stress. If the forces exceeds the limits, the electronic control system immediately shuts off the machine. This avoid dangerous collisions and crashes that would result into big damages to moving mechanical parts and tooling. This kind of safeties drastically increase efficiency and productivity of the machine, while reducing production costs.
