2013 Women's Lacrosse World Cup

The Dutch Women’s National Team Lacrosse intends to participate in the 2013 Women’s Lacrosse World Cup to be held in Oshawa, Canada from 10-20 July, 2013

Lacrosse is one of the oldest team sports in the world and originated in Canada. It is Canada’s #1 summer sport

In 2000 the sport was introduced in the Netherlands and has now become the Netherlands fastest growing sport being played in almost all university cities in the Netherlands.

In 2012 the Netherlands hosted the Lacrosse European Championships

The 2013 World Cup is the most important sporting team event in 2013 involving both Canada and the Netherlands

We want to Celebrate the Dutch Canadian Friendship with all Dutch Canadians and well wishers with an all day Dutch Day Event on Sunday 14th July in Oshawa

On that day there is both a Canadian game (12.30) and a Dutch game (19.30)
