1. Introduction
1.1 Objective
This document provides the step by step guide to Trainees on how to:
Update personal details
View achievement history
View / Download / Print e-Certificate (e-Cert)
Print Transcript (result slip)
Apply / Enquire CET Qualification Award (CQA)

2. User Guide to Trainee Module
2.1 Login
1. The e-Cert System requires Users to login to SkillsConnect (SCN) (via
SingPass or EASY) before he/she is able to access the Download e-Cert
menu.
2. Go to the SCN website at https://www.skillsconnect.gov.sg
3. Click the SingPass icon to login via SingPass.
4. Enter your NRIC Number as your SingPass ID if you are Singaporean. For
Permanent Resident, enter the CPF account or FIN Number as your
SingPass ID.
5. Enter your SingPass.
6. Click the “Submit” button.

2.2 Individual Profile Summary
Upon granted access into SCN, the System would display the SCN Portal Trainee
Screen.

1. Click “Trainee Profile”.
2. The System would display the inbox of your account.

3. To update personal detail, click on “Update Profile”, please refer to section
2.3 Update personal detail.
4. To view achievement history, click on “View Achievement”, please refer to
section 2.4 View Achievement history.
5. To print result slip, click on “Print Transcript”, please refer to section 2.5 Print
Transcript.
6. To apply / enquire on CET Qualification Award (CQA), please refer to

2.3 Update personal detail
Upon click on Update Profile, the system will display the Update Trainee page.

1. Update personal particulars accordingly. Do note “*” are mandatory fields.
2. Click on ‘Update’ button.

2.4 View Achievement history
Upon click on View Achievement, the System would display the View/Print Course
Attended/Qualification Obtained page.

1. To view NSRS / WSQ courses attended, click “Course Attended” in
dropdown list and proceed to step 4.
2. To view qualifications attained, click “Qualifications Attained” in dropdown
list and proceed to step 8.
3. To view potential qualification of attainment, click “Outstanding Competency
Standards/Units” in dropdown list and proceed to step 13.

4. To view by Courses Attended, the System would display a results page with
records and Download e-Cert links for viewing and downloading. Do note that
for records attained before the e-Cert implementation, download e-Cert ( )
icon will not be available as no e-Cert is generated. E.g.

5. To view / download e-Cert, click on the corresponding Download icon ( ) in
the “Download e-Cert” column.
6. The System would prompt for a local directory to save in.
7. Click “Save”.

8. To view by Qualifications Attained, the System would display a results page
with records, Download Qual and Download Tran links for viewing and
downloading. Do note that the Download Qual and Download Tran links will
only be available for records with generated qualification and transcript. E.g.

a. If there are no records, the System would display “No record found” page.

9. To view / download qualification, click on the corresponding Download icon (
) in the “Download Qual” column.

10. To view / download transcript, click on the corresponding Download icon ( )
in the “Download Tran” column.
11. The System would prompt for a local directory to save in.
12. Click “Save”.

13. To view by Outstanding Competency Standards/Units, the System would
display a results page with a dropdown list (Framework) and records (with
qualification in hyperlinks) for viewing. E.g.

a. To view records under particular framework, select the desired framework
in the dropdown list, the System would display a results page with a
dropdown list (with the selected Framework) and records (with
qualification in hyperlinks) for viewing. E.g.

Note: Choose the framework of interest, where applicable. You have attained
at least a SOA leading to the qualification. Click on the respective qualification
link to view the units to the qualification. You will still need to visit WDA

websites at www.wda.gov.sg and/or www.skillsconnect.gov.sg to find out
more about the respective competency maps and the competency standards
leading to the qualification.
b. To view details under a particular qualification, click on the corresponding
qualification hyperlink. The System would display a pop-up page with list
of competency standards for viewing. E.g.

14. To print the current list of competency standards page, click on “Print” button.

2.5 Print Transcript
Upon click on Print Transcript, the System would display the List of Competency
Standards Attained page.

Note: When ‘Certificate Serial Number’ is blank, it would mean the certificate has not been
sent for hardcopy printing.
1. Click on “Print Results Slip” button.
2. Click on “Open” / “Save” the file accordingly.
