MOTOR SIZING

On the following pages, when the displacement

size does not exactly match with the competitor

models (see chart below), the cross-reference

charts show the closest equivalent WD motor to

the competitor model. Larger displacement sizesincrease output torque with a corresponding speed

reduction. Smaller displacement sizes increase

speed with a corresponding torque reduction. In

cases where there is a choice between selecting

a larger or smaller displacement, the effects on

speed and torque should be considered.

OVERVIEW

The WD motor series is an economical alterna-

tive to more complex geroler designs and still pro-

vides high efciency across a wide performance

range. These motors are intended for medium

duty applications requiring high torque in a com-

pact package and are suitable for industrial and

mobile applications including car wash brushes,food processing equipment, conveyors, machine

tools, agricultural equipment, sweepers, skid steer

attachments and more.

SIDE LOAD

The effects of shock loads and shaft deection

need to be fully considered. Side loads with high

shock or varying loads should be reviewed and

qualied through testing to verify the motor can

meet the application requirements. Consult pub-

lished side load charts or contact your White Drive

Products representative for more information.
