In the world of fantasy football, people of all sizes, races and religions come together with one common interest; to draft and compete with professional

football players.

On a given day, generally before September 8th season opener, a group of people come together to form a draft room, whether it be online or in person. They then select the players with the highest statistical ranking to their team and match up

against other teams every weekend. Over a 12-14 week period, the teams with the best record make the playoffs and those that come out victorious take the reigns of

bragging rights for the next year and call themselves CHAMPIONS!

The Following are some unofficial rules regarding terms of play:

1.Never name your team after your girlfriend or cat.2.Listen to the experts.

3.Don’t listen to the experts.4.Know how to pronounce your draft pick’s name.

5.Being a fantasy coach does not give you the right to slap people on the butt.6.It’s your duty to talk trash. Period.

7.Doubtful means the player is not playing. Game-time decision mean $#%@!8.Best trades are often the ones you don’t make.

9.Don’t trade for players because your girlfriend thinks he has ‘cool hair’.10.There are no excuses for missing your draft (i.e. wedding).

Generally, the higher that a prospect is drafted in the NFL,The more likely it is that they will make an impact right away in the fantasy world.

The way points are accumulated vary from league to league. However, aside from defenses, points are always collected based on how many yards, scores, interceptions and fumbles they

have been involved in.
