Sara must resist the gaunt- let’s all-consuming thirst for battle, all the while solving the city’s strangest crimes— many of which invariably seem to lead back to the WITCHBLADE! LAST ISSUE: After waking from a coma brought on by a mysterious attack, Sara begins to explore what happened to her. During this investigation, Sara and Detective Patrick Gleason come under attack by strange monsters, forcing Sara to use the power of the Witchblade in front of Patrick. In the end they are saved by The Curator, a strange owner of an antique shop, who seems to know more information about the Witchblade then he is willing to reveal. Later that same day, Sara is visited by The Magdalena who warns her that she is meddling in affairs of the church and advises Sara to drop her investiga- tion. This warning only serves to fuel Sara's drive to unravel the mystery, and the Witch Hunt continues.
