Wavelog™ is a 2-way wireless device based on Wavenis ultra-low-power and long-range
wireless technology that allows you to monitor binary state-generating sensors and to control actuators, such as on/off devices and open/closed sensors.
With its fully configurable input and output channels, Wavelog offers a flexible and efficient solution for managing, monitoring and controlling binary devices such as valves, motors, intrusion alarms and lighting systems.
Wavelog detects state changes and wirelessly transmits data to Wavenis-enabled data collection devices.

Monitor binary states and control a system remotely
When connected to a binary digital I/O device, Wavelog can detect state changes and wirelessly transmit data (Immediate transmission or store-and-forward operation) to a Wavenis enabled data collection unit. Wavelog output ports may be also used simultaneously to control any connected device.
Two of these Wavelog can work as a couple: the input state on one of the first Wavelog can be automatically transfered to the other one (expternal power supply version advised as the output are bi-stable: high and low level).
Based on Wavenis Ultra Low Power (ULP) and long-range technology, Wavelog products offer battery life up to several years and wireless coverage robust enough to handle even the most hard-to-reach places. Wavelog is designed for integration in Wavenis wireless networks, and is fully compatible with all Wavenis protocol-based products.

Wavetalk is a simple Wavenis® wireless range extender that relays data transparently between
Wavenis wireless devices in order to increase the distance between them when necessary. Even though Wavenis technology offers wireless range that is among the longest in the industry, there are situations where wide area coverage is required.
Typically used to link end-points and gateways, up to three Wavetalk 2 modules can be placed a Wavenis gateway and end-point.

The key to the network backboneWavetalk range extenders are used in wireless network scenarios of all sizes to bridge the gap between distant Wavenis products. These modules offer full 2-way communications as a key part of large-scale Wavenis wireless networks. Connected to an Ethernet or GPRS gateway, which serves as the root device in a given network (see diagram below), they provide the wireless backbone for end-points that would otherwise be beyond the wireless range of the gateway.
Before deployment, a site survey is carried out in order to establish the best locations for installing the Wavetalk modules. Once the range extenders are activated, field technicians simply add Wavenis end-points to the network using PDA-based software tools. Range extenders offer automated self-configuration and self-routing (1) in order to bring the network up quickly.
