Safety is one of the highest priorities at Wayne State University. The WSU Department of Athletics and the Department of Public Safety take every reasonable step to aid in the safety of everyone visiting WSU and our athletic facilities. The WSU administration directs several important security measures in accordance with security regulations and in conjunction with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
The following items are prohibited: • Coolers and hard-sided bags and containers • Alcohol, tobacco or any illegal substances • Glass, cans and plastic bottles • Firearms or knives • Only service animals for people with disabilities are allowed into the stadium or arena. • Beach balls, blow horns and all other distracting noisemakers • Any other devices that may interfere with and/or distract any sports participant, other patron, audio or
audio/visual telecast or recording of the game or any technology-related service provided in the facilities. • Guests who are or appear to be intoxicated and/or unmanageable will not be permitted into any facilities.
As student-athletes we see this court as an extension of our classroom environment where we learn, among other lessons, dignity and respect for others. Today we ask for enthusiastic support of your team. We also ask that you exhibit behavior that supports the student-athletes from both institutions by honoring our request that you treat all fans, officials, coaches and student-athletes with respect. Failure to act in such a manner could be grounds for removal from this match.
Let’s make this an event for all to enjoy.
Thank you and Go Warriors!!
First Aid In the event of a medical emergency, please notify one of the event staff or police officers in your area. Lost and Found Reports of lost and found items can be made with any identifiable Game Day Staff personnel.
