RESTORATION 2021 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN – RESTORING GOD’S HOUSE FOR GREATER MINISTRY: Thank you everyone for making your pledges and contributions to the Kick Start drive. Did you know that you can contribute toward your pledge amount by donating all or part of your 2018 income tax return to the Wayman Capital Campaign? The committee would be happy to show you how to move your funds electronically for that purpose. You can fulfill your commitment with an easy lump sum donation each year, or you can make weekly, monthly or quarterly contributions – use whatever method works best for you! PRAYER BREAKFAST: The Wayman Family is invited to a Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the Ohio South Ohio Women in Ministry on Saturday, April 27, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Middletown, Ohio.  Tickets are $20 and include a full breakfast.  See Rev. AME CHRISTIAN RECORDER SUBSCRIPTION DRIVE: If you would like to purchase a subscription to the Christian Recorder at the discounted bulk subscription rate of $33/year, please contact the church office. The Christian Recorder is the official news publication of the A.M.E. Church and the oldest, continuously published African American periodical.

HEALTH CORNERLast year I had the good fortune to attend a very important conference on the topic of Alzheimer’s. Some call it Dementia and some call it Oldtimers Disease. Most important, it was excellent. It will be held this year on Thursday May 9, at Sinclair Community College from 8:00am until 4:30pm. If you are worried about someone close to you this is an opportunity to get all types of information. The 3rd Annual Coretta Scott King Legacy Luncheon will be held on Monday, April 29th at 11am at the Dayton Club.  This year's legacy recipients are longtime civil rights activist Dr. Bernard Lafayttee and Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Opal Tometi. Tickets can be purchased online at https://antiochcollege.edu/event/legacy-luncheon-2019. It's likely the event will sell out again, please get your ticket soon. To pay by check, please see Rev. CHURCH VAN PROCEDURES: Van use request forms must be submitted two weeks prior to the date of the event. A minimum of seven people are required in order to use the van/bus and the van can only be used for Wayman Chapel purposes. Donations for use are accepted. All drivers must successfully complete the required Driver Training Program. Anyone interested in being a driver, please contact Bro. Damon Woods at 304-5575.

FACILITYKITCHEN REQUEST FORM: Members must fill out a Kitchen Request Form to use the kitchen. The forms are located outside of the treasurer’s office, bottom slot. Turn in the completed form to the church office and a kitchen committee person will call you. If your organization didn’t receive the Kitchen Guidelines, please see Peggy Wynn. Thank You!

DO NOT bring any FOOD or DRINKS into the sanctuary or overflow rooms. Food and beverages damage the carpet, leave unsightly spots, and ultimately ruin the appearance of our sanctuary. We appreciate your cooperation and together we can keep our church looking beautiful. Wayman Board of Trustees.
