Things to consider for individuals with mobility and visual needs:
• Paths have varied conditions: slopes, steps, crosswalks, curbs
• Paths have varied surfaces: cobbles, brick, concrete, asphalt, gravel
• Visual and physical cues become landmarks: water features, wind chimes, open
spaces, etc.
• Consistent messaging and placement is critical
