KOSTA’S KORNER COMMUNITY NEWS
Hello Wauwatosa Active Older Adults!!! Happy March! I hope this edition of our Wauwatosa Senior Center newsletter finds you all well and that you are get-ting ready to feel the warmth of the upcoming Spring months. I know when
March hits, I think of 2 things, March Madness and Brewer Baseball. I love how we get excited for that first warm Spring day and how it “springs” us to want to get active again. March is full of exciting things at the senior centers. One pro-gram that I would like to highlight is our Mayoral Candidate forum on March 6th at 1PM at the Hart Park Senior Center. This is your opportunity to listen, ask important questions and compare the candidates running for Mayor. It is sure to be an important afternoon. Please register in advance and we hope to see many of you there. Have a wonderful March! Come visit and say hello. My door is always open. See you soon! Kosta Zervas
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!! ONLINE VOTER GUIDE NOW at VOTE411.org
The League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County has created an online Voter Guide. At the beginning of March, they will publish all general election candidate replies to League questions on the issues at VOTE411.org giving you and all local voters the opportunity to learn about and compare the candidates running for lo-cal office and make informed decisions on Election Day, April 7. Between March 3 and General Election Day April 7, go to VOTE411.org. Fill in your address and see your polling place location, what is on your personal general election ballot, and compare answers of state-wide and local candidates running for office in the April 4 general election. Spread the word to family, friends, neighbors. VOTE411.org is available 24-7 and will go wherever your phone or tablet goes, even to the polls on election day.
