Purpose

To better organize the Watershed Management Bureau to gain efficiencies, better focus on mission critical tasks and to better utilized the skills and experience of WMB staff.

To be better placed to handle opportunities (eg. new grants) and challenges (eg. Federal budget cuts) without deterioration of core mission activities.

To better define the role of WMB within DES and relative to other organizations throughout the state.

To better communicate the information and products that

WMB creates and houses.
