Free Quilt Pattern Instructions

For best results, read the pattern completely first.

1. Cut your pieces following the chart on p. 3. Reserve the E7 strips for step 3.

2. Follow the diagram to the right for placement of fabrics. Sew the rows together and press in the direction indicated by the arrows.

3. Follow the quilt top assembly diagram below to assemble the quilt top and sashing. Tip: Place a pin in the middle an E strip. Pin the E strip to the middle of the A strip or pieced strip. Pin at each end. This will help distribute the strips evenly.

4. Make your quilt sandwich: layer the quilt top, right side up, over the batting and backing, wrong sides up. Baste layers to secure.

5. Quilt as desired.

6. Make and attach the binding: Join the 2¼" x WOF strips together to create one continuous piece. Press in half lengthwise. Sew the binding to the front of the quilt with a 1/4 seam allowance. Turn the binding to the back of the quilt and stitch by hand with matching thread.
