Double Dam and Triple Dam Overview

• Double Dam and Triple Dam products are water-inflated dams suitable for use in flood mitigation and cofferdams in civil construction applications.

• Generally suitable for installation on dry surfaces, in standing waters or dynamic waters. Site suitability should never be assumed. The manufacturer or Nilex representative must be consulted.

• To ensure the safety of installation personnel, and to maximize predictable performance results, all Double Dam and Triple Dam products are engineered for stability without the use of anchors or straps. No utility locates or soil structure analysis are required.

• All Triple Dam installations must be performed or supervised by a manufacturer approved representative to validate warranty.

• Double Dam and Triple Dam products are engineered to operate with a minimum 25% freeboard in static water applications. Dynamic water installations require additional freeboard.

• Double Dams and Triple Dams can be filled with any available water source. Standard NPT 2” and 3” fittings for fill and drain operations are standard on all units. No proprietary components means simple onsite adaptation to all types/sizes of pumps. Filling and draining time will vary with the size of the dam deployed and the volumetric capacity of the pump(s).

• Double Dam and Triple Dam are purpose-built for reuse. A manufacturer authorized representative can provide direction for product recovery. Once recovery is complete, suitable storage must provide protection from exposure to outdoor elements and avoid extended exposure to temperatures above 100oF (37.8oC).

Double Dam features a single internal stabilizing panel to provide safety and stability for all sizes up to 4’ (1.2m) high.
