Regulatory Enforcement to Industries
• Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation
issued notifications to 9 prioritized sectors including F&B sectors,
to submit Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
Develop a proper EMP including a systematic monitoring
plan

a) Waste water treatment system
b) Air pollution control system (including odor)
c) Solid waste management system

A Sustainable Future for F&B
WWF-Myanmar partnering with MFPEA and SBFIC, the new EU funded
project: “Catalyzing Sustainable Water and Energy Management in Food and
Beverage industries in the Ayeyarwady River Basin’, will strive to create an
enabling environmental for Myanmar’s F&B (SMEs) to profitably invest in
green technologies, reducing both ecological footprint and production cost.
