SAFETY PRECAUTIONSBasic safety precautions should be followed when using electrical appliances, including:

•Onlyplugindispenserinthesequencethemanualindicates(seeHOWTOINSTALLANDUSE).

• Inaccordancewiththeseinstructions,thedispensermustbeproperlylocatedandinstalledbeforeuse(seeHOWTOINSTALLANDUSE).

•Useonlybottledwaterinthedispenser.

•Keepallgasolineorotherflammablevaporsandliquidsawayfromthisandotherappliances.

•Dispensermustbeunpluggedbeforecleaning,sanitizingorrepairing(seeCLEANINGANDSANITIZING).

•Wipeupanywaterspillsimmediatelyafterloadingorunloadingwaterbottles.

•Donotusewithwaterthatismicrobiologicallyunsafeorofunknownquality.

•Thedispenserheatswatertoatemperatureabove180ºF(82ºC).Watertemperaturesabove125ºF(52ºC)cancausesevereburnsordeathfromscalding.Mostatriskofbeingscaldedarechildren,thedisabledandtheelderly.

•Ensurethedispenserstandsuprightfor2hoursbeforeloadingwaterbottle,plugginginandturninguniton.

•Alwaysliftdispenserbyhandlelocatedonrearofunit.Liftingdispenserbyfaucetswilldamagetheunit.

•Followpropergroundingsafetyprecautionsandinstructionspriortopluggingintheunit(seeGROUNDINGSAFETYPRECAUTIONSANDINSTRUCTIONS).

•Supervisechildrenwhenusingthedispenser(seeCHILDSAFETY).

GROUNDING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONSWARNING: The dispenser must be grounded – if the appliance is improperly grounded, the result could be electric shock.

Ensurethattheavailablepowersupplymatchesthedispenser’svoltagespecificationsindicatedonthenameplatelabel(locatedattherear).Pleaseensurethatdispenserissetupsoaccesstothepoweroutletandplugisunobstructed.

IMPORTANT: To provide additional protection from the risk of shock, the dispenser MUST be connected to a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet at all times. Use of an extension cord will void any warranties. See warranty document for complete terms and conditions.

CHILD SAFETYCAUTION: Supervise children when using the dispenser.

Thehotdispenserfaucetisequippedwithachildsafeguardthatreducestheriskofhotwaterbeingdispensedaccidentallyorbysmallchildren.Todispensehotwater,squeezethefrontandbackoftheleftfaucethandletogetherandpushdown.Donotallowchildrentohang,climborstandonthedispenser;thedispensercouldfalloverandthechildcouldbeinjured.

RECEIVINGInspectthedispenserboxcarefullyforanyevidenceofshippingorhandlingdamagebeforesigningtoreceivegoods.Incaseofshippingdamage,claimsshouldbefiledimmediatelywiththecarrier.

HOW TO INSTALL AND USEWARNING: Read through every step in HOW TO INSTALL AND USE before plugging in or turning unit on.

1. Keepdispenserunpluggedandintheoffpositionuntilthewaterbottlehasbeenloadedandwaterflowsthroughthefaucets.

2. Ensuredispenserstandsuprightforaminimumof2hoursbeforeloadingwaterbottle,plugginginandturningondispenser.

3. Placedispenseraminimumof2inchesawayfromthewalltoensureventilation.

4. Installdispenseronalevelfloorstrongenoughtosupportitwhenfullyloaded.

5. Donotinstalldispenserwhereitwillbesubjecttodirectsunlight,heatormoisture.

6. Donotinstalldispenserwherethetemperaturewillgobelow50ºF(10ºC)orabove100ºF(38ºC).

7. Wipedownthewaterbottlecapandnecktoensurethereisnodebris.

8. Removetamper-evidentsealfromplasticbottlecap.DoNOTremoveplasticcapifusingtheNO-SPILLWaterBottleSystem.

9. Loadwaterbottlebyliftingandinsertingitontotheprobe,ensuringbottleisfullyalignedwiththedispenserandcenteredovertheprobe.Becertainfingersandotherbodypartsareclearofundersideofbottle.Applyslightpressureuntiltheshoulderofthebottlerestsonthetopofthecoolerspillproofinsert.Waterwillbegintoflowintothetankcausingairbubblesinthebottle.

10.Placeacupunderthehotdispenserfaucet.Squeezethefrontandbackoftheleftfaucethandletogetherandpushdownuntilwaterflowscontinuously.Depressthecoldwaterfaucettomakesurethereisacontinuousflowofwater.

11.Now,plugdispenserintothepowersupplyusingaGFCIoutlet.Turnonthehottankheaterswitchlocatedattherearofthedispenser.Whentheswitchisturnedon,aredlightwillilluminate.Whenthehottankreachesoperatingtemperature,theredlightwillgooff.

12.Installdriptray.

13.Dispensewater.

NOTE: It takes approximately 1 hour for water in the dispenser to become hot.

CLEANING AND SANITIZINGWARNING: Always unplug dispenser before cleaning. IMPORTANT: It is recommended that the dispenser be cleaned two times a year.

CLEANING OUTSIDE OF DISPENSERWipedispenserbody,bottlereceptacle,tankandfaucetswithaclothandwarm,soapywater.Rinsewithcleanwaterandwipedry.

CLEANING DRIP TRAY AND GRILLThedispenserdriptrayisnotself-drainingandshouldbecleanedregularly.Toreducewaterspotting,thetrayshouldbeemptied,cleanedwithmildsoaporontoprackofdishwasher,andwipeddry.

CLEANING AND SANITIZING RESERVOIR1. Beforecleaning,placeswitchlocatedonrearofdispensertotheoffpositionandunplugunit.

2. Letdispenserstandforone hourbeforecleaningtoallowhottanktocool.

3. Removewaterbottleanddrainwaterreservoirbydispensingwaterthroughthefaucets.

4. RemoveSPILL-PROOFdispenserinsertbypullinguponnotchlocatedontoprearofdispenser.

5. Removeseparatorbypullingstraightout.

6. RemovewhiteairfilterfromSPILL-PROOFdeviceandsetasidepriortocleaning.CleanSPILL-PROOFdispenserinsertandseparatorwithwarm,soapywaterandwipedry.

7. Allowthesepartstodrythoroughly.

8. Wipeinsideofreservoirwithasoft,cleanrag.

9. Placeseparatorbackindispenser.

10.ReplaceSPILL-PROOFdispenserinsert.

11.Installafullwaterbottleondispenser(seeHOWTOINSTALLANDUSE).

12.PlugdispenserintothepowersupplyusingaGFCIoutlet.Turnonhottankheaterswitchlocatedattherearofdispenser.

13.Dispensewater.

TROUBLESHOOTINGWARNING: Always turn off dispenser and unplug from power outlet before inspecting or starting any maintenance.

WATER IS LEAKING•Bottlemayhavealeak.Removeandinstallnewbottle.

WATER DOES NOT FLOW FROM DISPENSER•Makesurebottleisnotempty;ifempty,replacebottle.•Makesuretopushdownonfaucetfully.• Inspecttoseeifthereisapinholeinthebottle;ifso,replacebottle.• CheckvalveonSPILL-PROOFdispenserinsert;makesureitisallowingairintothereservoir.

WATER TASTES BAD• Dispensermayneedtobecleaned(seeCLEANINGANDSANITIZING).

WATER NOT HOT OR COLD ENOUGH• Checktomakesuredispenserispluggedinandtheswitchisturnedon.• Testelectricaloutletbyplugginginanotherelectricaldevicetoensureoutletisworkingproperly.• Afusemaybeblownorthecircuitbreakermaybetripped;ifneeded,replacefuseorresetbreaker.• Dispensermaybeplacedindirectsunlightormaybetooclosetoaheatsource;trymovingdispenserintoacoolshadedarea.• Coldtemperaturecontrol:thermostatissettodeliverwateratapproximately50ºF(10ºC).• Hottemperaturecontrol:non-adjustablethermostatissettodeliverwateratapproximately180ºF(82ºC).

DISPENSER IS NOISY• Makesurethedispenserisonalevelfloororcounterstrongenoughtosupportitwhenfullyloaded.• Itisnormalforthebottletomakeagurglingnoiseaswaterfillsthetank.• Itisnormalforthedispenserorwaterbottletoshakewhenthecoolingsystemcyclesoff.• Someoperatingnoisefromthecompressorandhottankisnormal.

PARTICLES FLOATING IN WATER• Dispensermayneedtobecleaned(seeCLEANINGANDSANITIZING).• Alwaysensurelabelisfullyremovedfrombottlecapbeforeplacingondispenser.• Callyourwaterserviceproviderifproblempersists.

DISPENSER NEEDS TO BE STORED• Alwaysdrainwatercompletelyusingthehottankdrainlocatedonthebackofthedispenserbeforeshippingorstoring.

TO PROPERLY DISPOSE OF YOUR DISPENSER• Yourolddispensermayhaveusedaregulatedrefrigerantinitscoolingsystem.Theserefrigerantsarebelievedtoharmstratosphericozone.Ifyouarethrowingawayyourolddispenser,makesuretherefrigerantisremovedandrecoveredforproperdisposalbyanEPA-certifiedtechnician.Ifyouintentionallyreleasethisrefrigerant,youcanbesubjecttofinesandimprisonmentunderprovisionsofenvironmentallegislation.
