Calendar Notes ♻ This calendar is only valid for East side residents. Garbage and Recycling collection will only occur on the

shaded day for the East Side area as shown above, with the exception of the Downtown Core Area

♻ The Downtown Core receives weekly Wednesday garbage collection and bi-weekly recycling collection

♻ Please place your curbside collection items by 8:00am (7:00am for the Downtown Core)

City Waste Management Programs

♻ Garbage bags must not be larger than 89cm x 127cm (35in x 50in), garbage cans no larger than 136 litres

♻ Garbage weight restrictions are up to 18kg (40lbs) per bag or container

♻ Up to 4 tagged garbage bags or containers can be put out per household. There is no limit for recycling

♻ Flatten and bundle all corrugated cardboard placed at the curb for monthly Monday collection

♻ Household Hazardous Waste is only accepted on specific days outlined on the reverse side. Check out our

website for a full list of acceptable items. The location is at 1900 20th Street East from 9:00am—2:00pm

♻ The leaf & yard waste composting facility is open seven days a week from 8:00am—8:00pm

Additional waste and recycling can be brought to The Miller Waste Transfer Station. Fees apply for garbage

Monday to Friday: 8:00am—5:00pm (519) 372-1855 2085 20th Avenue East
