Dlo cose we had almost written archdiocese of New York Rev Dr Charles S Burch The archdeacon has now been elected suffragan bishop for Now York this bolng the first election of the kind held In the country New York Is thus the first diocese to t ke advantage of the new for suffragan bishops The election was almost unanimous on the first ballot and was made unanimous by a rising vote As In event
