October 14, Monday:This morning you will depart via deluxe motor-coach for overnight lodging inPennsylvania: enjoy a stop for an included dinner at the 356th Fighter Group Restaurant.October 15, Tuesday: Enjoy a breakfast (included) prior to departing. On your way to Gettysburg a stopwill be made at the United Flight 93 Memorial. After arriving in Gettysburg tour the CycloramaMuseum. October 16, Wednesday: Breakfast a (included) prior to a half day tour of Gettysburg. The Battle ofGettysburg was a turning point in the Civil War. Often referred to as the "High Water Mark of the
Confederacy, it was the war's bloodiest battle with 51,000 casualties. It also provided President Abraham
Lincoln with the setting for his most famous address. This afternoon depart for Washington DC and enjoy
dinner at the famous Phillips Flagship Restaurant, the largest restaurant in the Washington DCmetropolitan area. After dinner enjoy a Twilight Tour of the Monuments.October 17, Thursday: Enjoy breakfast (included) before departing on your full-day guided city tour ofour Nations Capital. Highlights include: visits to the Lincoln, World War II, Jefferson, Korean, Vietnam
Veterans, & Marines Memorials; the Library of Congress, Capital Building and the Washington National
Cathedral. Also enjoy a drive down Embassy Row, plus much more! Tonight is a free evening forindependent interest.
October 18, Friday: Enjoy breakfast (included) before departing for, Mount Vernon. Mount Vernon,home of George & Martha Washington, was at one time an 8,000-acre plantation divided into five farms.
Each farm was a complete unit, with its own overseers, work force of slaves, livestock, equipment, and
buildings. This afternoon spend time at Smithsonian Institution, which encompasses 16 museums andgalleries. Nine of the museums line the National Mall of 4th St. to 14th St. Tonight enjoy one of
Washington DCs dinner theater.
October 19, Saturday: After your included breakfast at your hotel you will depart for Arlington NationalCemetery. View Americas largest national burial ground with more than 600 acres of landscaped hills.Among the thousands of white headstones are the graves of President John F. Kennedy, Supreme Court
Justice Thurgood Marshall, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This afternoon depart for Pennsylvania
for your overnight stay.
October 20, Sunday: This morning, enjoy breakfast (included) at the hotel before departing for home.
