Explanation system of washing machine

Washing machineExplanation system of washing machinecan be divided into two halves, the washer's control system and the washer's mechanical system.

The washer control system consists of thetimer, control board, load size selector (pressure switch), a water temperature selector, lid switch.

The mechanical system includes themotor transmission, clutch, inner and outerwash tubs, suspension system, agitator pumps, water valve, and abeltormotor coupling. Two main mechanical styleTop loadingFull autoSemi autoFront loadingFull auto

Circuit diagram of washing machine motor controller.

When switch S1 is in position A, coil L1 of the motor receives the current directly, whereas coil L2 receives the current with a phase shift due to capacitor C

When switch S1 is in position B, the reverse happens and the rotor rotates in anti-clockwise directionThe on-off cycle in the master timer should go on only for the set timeOnce the master timer goes off, the cycle should stop.the outputs of both the timers are connected to NAND gate N1 (IC3).The output pin 3 of N1 is connected to relay RL1 via pnp transistor T1As themains 220V line is taken through relay RL1, the monitor turns off during the 3-second off period after the set time of 10 seconds is over.

Duringon time of spin direction timer IC2, the output of negative- edge triggerd JK flip-flop at pin 2 goes low.During the off time of IC2, the output of N1 goes high.Floatingpointtrouble mayoccur at trigger pin 2ofIC1. Resister R8 over comes this problem byholding pin 2 high.ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLYASSY- COVER TOP

1. Remove the two screws holding the top Cover at back of the unit.

2. Remove the top-cover through pushing and pulling.

3. Then, the Water (Pressure) Sensor, Noise Filter and Water Valve can be replacedBELT

1. Before removing the belt, should be opened the Cover Bottom

2. Remove the belt before the re-assembly. Ensure the belt is placed on the center of the motor pulley.MOTOR

Remove the wire housing from the motor.Remove the bolts holding the motor by using the power screwdriver.Remove the motorDoor-Hinge

Remove the xing screws holding the Door-Glass.Separate the glass.

After removing the two screws holding the Holder Glass, replace the Door Hinge. After putting them back together, check if the screws holding the Door Hinge is fastened properly.Explain maintenance and fault detectionIs there a power failure? Is the power cord correctly connected to an electric outlet? Is the electric fuse broken?Did you turn on the power?Did you press Start/Hold button? Is there correct amount of water in the tub?The washing machine will not operate at all.Did you connect the inlet hose and open the water tap?Is the inlet hose or the water tap frozen? Is the water supply shut off?Does foreign matter block up the inlet hose filter?Water is not suppliedIs the drain hose frozen or blocked up by dirt?Is the drain hose kinked or deformed? Is the end of the drain hose immersed in water? Is there excessive dirt inside the pump housing? The washing machine will not drain. Is the clothes in the tub collected on one side?

Is the washing machine installed on an uneven floor or is the vibration serious?

Is the lid open? (The lamp will light up in this case.)The washing machine will not spin
