Manhunt - The Addy Play Team

The estate is one of the only a handful of areas that are lucky enough to have an adventure playground in the WHOLE OF YORKSHIRE but we still feel the urge to get out of here now and again!

The Addy Play team now have a uniform so you will easily recognise us. You’ll see us getting out and about, playing team games across the estate.

Have you heard of the team game Manhunt? It’s an urban game; that you probably used to call tig. But it’s gone BIG! Two teams play across designated areas and try and catch the opponents across the estate.

We are also looking for a set of wheels such as wheelbarrow to make into “The Addy Cart” to help us collect loose material and junk that we can use on the playground to make dens and go carts etc. If you have anything to donate that you think we may find useful, please ring Michelle on 01977 670953, we can use pretty much anything, if in doubt give us a call.

We hope that with the support of the local community we can show you how children can play positively in and out of the playground. Feel free to join in too!
