Dear Parents / Carers, Presentation Day—Monday December 4 Our K - 2 Presentation Day will begin promptly at 9.30 am. Our 3 - 6 Presentation Day will begin at 11.30 am. Join us as we celebrate our academic successes of 2017. You will have been notified if you have a child receiving an award. We are looking forward to students being in their correct school uniform for this important school event. Performances: K-2 ceremony: Guitar Group, K-2 Choir, Junior Dance Group and Senior Choir. 3-6 ceremony: Guitar Group, Senior Dance Group, Senior Choir and Junior Dance Group. As this is the most formal event in our school calendar we ask you respect these safety and privacy issues: do not stand in doorways and around the edges of the hall as we need aisle ways kept clear remain seated throughout the ceremony turn your mobile phones to silent you are not permitted to take videos of any student and please only photographs of your own child All Kindergarten students will receive a Kindergarten Graduation certificate in the K-2 ceremony and Year 6 Graduation Certificates will be handed out in the 3—6 ceremony. Thank You Helpers On Monday we held our special Thank You Afternoon Tea and Assembly for all of our wonderful helpers throughout 2017. If you couldn't make our celebration we extend to you all a very sincere thank you for your support at Warnervale in 2017. Thank you most sincerely to all who help us around the school. We thank you for helping us with Book Club, Home Reading, Canteen, Toast 2 Go, transport for sport, choir, environmental group, covering books, helping in the Library, reading groups, Fundraising, Scripture, Ethics, for all sorts of classroom activities, help with carnivals ... the list is endless and Warnervale would not be the wonderful place it is without you! End of Year Excursions Please note that all payments for our 2017 end of year excursions are now due. Go for Gold certificates and medallions will still be presented to the students even though we have no scheduled assemblies over the next few weeks. Change of Address / Moving in 2018 If you are leaving us at the end of this year, you need to notify the school in writing. This is very important for school organisation and staffing structures. Fijian School Fundraising Disco
Our SRCs are holding a lunch time disco on Friday December 1 to raise some much needed funds for the Ratu Filise Memorial School in Namatakula, Fiji. The K-2 disco will be held during lunch time and the 3-6 disco will be held during recess. Entry to this fun event is $2 to be paid at the door.
