WARNER ROBINS

MAINTENANCE AND

MODERNIZATION

(WRMM)

Northrop Grumman Technical Services’ Warner Robins Maintenance and Modernization (WRMM) organization

is located in middle Georgia with facilities adjacent to Robins Air Force Base. For the past 20 years, WRMM has been providing cost-effective lifecycle solutions including embedded software development, avionics modeling and simulation, sustainment and avionics depot repair to include support for multiple electronic warfare systems. Additionally, the WRMM Quick Reaction Center, Rolling Meadows, Ill., provides rapid prototyping and fielding of critical components to support urgent operational requirements.

Capabilities

WRMM has a broad spectrum of depot repair experience including:

• Inspection• Sustaining engineering• Repair• Spares • Test • Reliability/maintainability

The experienced Warner Robins depot workforce provides more than 1,300 repairs annually. WRMM also has a successful history of delivering systems that provide operational aircrews effective, relevant electronic warfare (EW) training capabilities for both heavy lift and rotary wing aircraft.

The sites certifications include:

• Class I, II, and III FAA Certification• ISO 9001:2000 Registered• ISO AS 9100 Certification

WRMM also has significant experience with a wide variety of military avionics software development programs to include:

• Operational Flight Programs • Processor emulations• High-fidelity simulations • Test and support tools • Test programs sets • Hardware-control software • VXI, VME, SCSI and Interfacing Software

The WRMM state-of-the-art, organically supported Avionics Integration Support Facility (AISF) for U.S. Air Force Special Operations fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft has been instrumental in reducing flight tests for these high-demand, low-density assets by 75 percent. Facilities include:

• Cockpit photorealistic displays• Enhanced data recording, and • Analysis tools for full aircraft platform

integration and test.

WRMM has leveraged past investments to develop the Integrated Test Environment (ITE). ITE uses the same Line Replaceable Unit and environment simulations as the Avionics Integrated Support Facility (AISF). However, ITE replaces mission and display computer hardware with emulations providing drop in Operational Flight Program (OFP) execution to bring the AISF capability out of the lab and on to the desktop of each individual developer and tester. ITE uses open-source tools and commercial-off-the-shelf hardware allowing desktop training for aircrew, developers and testers.
