Tuning Process:

• Concertmaster or Principal Cellist• A Note• Basses should tune first (2nd Harmonic)• A Note again for rest of strings• Concertmaster play D scale up to G• Hear the Missing A / then tune• A and D together – tune in 5ths • Remaining strings• Basses – 3rd and 4th Harmonic partials
