store Space: 54,400 sq. ft (1460,000 cubic ft) Out side Premises : Gazibari (2000 sq.ft) for PM &

warehouse of API plant (25000 sq.ft) for RM/PM. 04 reach track & 03 diesel forklift.

Arrangement & Facilities Separate area for Pass, Quarantine & Reject. Up to 10 meter height of single & double deep racking

operation 4 Environmental conditions are maintained

– Ambient condition (<40°C )– Controlled room temperature (15 – 25°C )– Cool room area (8 – 15°C )– Refrigerator (2 – 8°C )

OBJECTIVES OF EFFICIENT WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

Provide timely service to other departments. Keep track of items so they can be found readily &

correctly. Minimize the total physical effort & thus the cost of

moving goods into & out of storage. Provide communication links with customers Warehouse System provides time and place utility for

raw materials, Packing material, and finished products, allowing firms to use customer service as a dynamic value-adding competitive tool for production & shipment.

Complexity of warehouse operation depends on the number of SKUs handled & the number of orders received & filled.

Accepts goods from as ‒ Outside transportation or attached factory &

accepts responsibility Check the goods against an order & the bill of

Items are identified with the appropriate stock-keeping unit (SKU) number ( RR number, B/N) & the quantity received recorded at log book & BIN card.Material is stored according to storage condition facilitated at warehouse.Material is segregated according to Pass, Quarantine.Solvent & Reject material is stored at dedicated area as per SOP. Goods are kept in storage & under proper protection until needed where applicable.

FIFO as logistics requisition to TDCL or third party. VAT document according Govt. regulation.

OPERATING INFORMATION SYSTEMOPERATING INFORMATION SYSTEM A record must be maintained for each item in stock

showing the quantity on hand, quantity received, quantity issued, & location in the warehouse.
