WAM Legislative Tracking Database Tutorial  

1. On WAM’s website, select Advocacy and Follow Legislation  

 

 

 

2. This view contains multiple links to bill searches and resources.  Only the bills that the WAM 

Staff have found relevant to municipalities will be visible on the Bill Search links but a full list of 

bills from the LSO is available at the Legislation link.  Links to WAM’s Legislative Agenda, elected 

Officials, and this Tutorial can be found on this view.

3. Select WAM Priority Bills or the list of bills with action in week listed

5. You can search by Policy Area 

 

 

6. Each search opens the selected bills, this has a limited view of info and links to the larger Bill 

Detail  

  

7. When in a Search, you can select a bill link that will open the Bill Detail page.  You can see the 

staff analysis, print the bill, see the status in session, and make comments.  The comments will 

not auto‐post but will go to WAM Staff to be evaluated into the position comment  

 

 

8. Make comments by selecting Post Your Comment and complete form  

 

9. View and/or print the state summary page has the activity, amendments and status of the bill.  

The full bill and summary page are pulled directly from LSO website.
