The ball
The so-called musette ball was created in the 18th century when people came to dance on the music of a unique instrument : the musette.
Since the beginning of the 19th century, which was the golden age of the musette balls, the musette has been replaced by the accordion.
What about waltz?
• In fact this technique of dancing spread in the 1890s in Paris because the ball rooms were narrow and couples could be close to each other during dancing and did not move around very much, even sometimes dancing on the same spot all the time.
