• SAFETEA (the Safer, Accountable, Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act of 2003)

• Six year $247 billion reauthorization proposal

• Intelligent Transportation System Performance Incentive Program $135 million/yr. (TEA-21 was $113M/yr.)

• Intelligent Transportation System Research $121 million/yr. (TEA-21 was $100 M/yr.)

IEEE 802.11 committee
