Message FRoM the pRogRaM specialistNow that the weather is getting a little nicer after this memorable winter, we hope you head out and engage in some leisurely activities. These leisurely activities can be found in our Parks and Recreation Guides. Inside our Summer 2011 Program Guide, you will find a wide variety of programs, activities and events. Our staff has worked diligently in putting together quality summer programs for all participants. Our camp offerings range from traditional playground programs to our month long Summer Arts Programs. For our sports enthusiasts check out our sports camps covering football, baseball, tennis, golf and basketball to name a few. Any future architects or engineers? Our very popular Lego Engineering Camp will be taking place in August.

The very popular Twilight Tunes concerts return to the Parade Grounds at Town Hall with a great line up of bands to entertain us all this summer. Please see the performer line up and schedule under the Special Events section. Four of the five bands this summer will be first time performers for our Twilight Tunes Concerts. Their sounds and enthusiasm will get you out of your seats this summer!

From all of us at the Parks and Recreation Department, we hope you all have an active, safe and enjoyable Summer!

Pilates

New! 5029.311 stott piLates Matt cLass

STOTT PILATES is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Co-founders Moira and Lindsay G. Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent over two decades refining the STOTT PILATES method of exercise and equipment. This resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and effective methods available. This clear and detailed approach forms the basis for STOTT PILATES training and
