Our goal at the CloudCoin Consortium is to make a digital currency accessible and usable for everyone regardless of experience. We believe that a digital currency should be easy to use by people from every walk of life as well as have the best security and privacy available anywhere.

Can you use social media such as Facebook? Can you send and receive email on a computer? Can you add attachments and locate a file?

If the answer is Yes, then it sounds like you already have the skills needed to operate the NEW CloudCoin Wallet Software! A basic knowledge of computers is required.

If you have downloaded CloudCoin Wallet, we assume you have already learned a little about CloudCoin. This Handbook has instructions with explanation and some key screenshots to help you navigate and use the software.

The CloudCoin Consortium recommends that you get a Free Proton Mail Secure Email Account. It is the most secure way to send and receive CloudCoins by email. It is also useful to file lost coin reports if you ever need to. Go to: Proton Mail.com and sign up for your free email account if you do not have one.

The version number of the CloudCoin Wallet is printed in thisGuide. Make sure the version matches your CloudCoin Wallet version, so you have the most up to date App and instructions.

This Handbook has been written for as many people as possible.If you require in-depth details of the mechanics of how it all works, there are some resources at the end of this guide; you will find helpful.

Definitions

Here Is a Compact List of Keywords Including Some Technical Terms.The context of how these words are defined below will be valuable in this Guide.

Authentic CloudCoin: A Coin that is Authentic according to the RAIDA. It has the most recent password that has been registered with the RAIDA.

Authenticity number: (AN) Also referred to as the Coin's password. This is the secret 800-character number that changes every time a CloudCoin is powned (password owned) by a new owner.

Backup file: An exact copy of an original file that can be used to restore information that has been lost, misplaced, or erased. When you create a Backup file, remember the file name, or make a note of it so you can remember where to find it. You can save this file to anywhere you want. We recommend that you store it somewhere secure. A secure online option is: Secure Safe.com

Bank folder: The folder where this software program stores Authentic CloudCoins. The Bank folder and all other Client Folders should be left alone to avoid problems.

Client Folders: Also referred to as ‘Wallet folders.’ This refers to the folder and file system that is generated by this software.This is what organizes your CloudCoins, Wallet info, transactions, history, etc. These folders and files should always be left alone under normal operation. Always use the CloudCoin Wallet to manage your CloudCoins.Moving these folders or files may cause the program to malfunctionor display incorrect information.

CloudCoin: The first-ever cloud-based digital currency. Which cannot be counterfeited, double-spent, mined or permanently lost. CloudCoin transactions are 100% private. CloudCoin requires no public ledgers, accounts, or encryption. CloudCoin cannot be brought down by governments, hackers, ornuclear weapons. This level of security is provided by the patent pending RAIDA technology. (see RAIDA)

CloudCoin Consortium: This is the Global collection of freedom-loving people dedicated to promoting and supportingthe growing use of CloudCoin as a Global, Private digital currency. This Consortium provides free publicly available software tools to transact and manage CloudCoins. You can become part of the Consortium. Note: The CloudCoin Consortium does not control CloudCoins or the RAIDA.

CloudCoin Denominations: Sometimes referred to as ‘notes.’ Just as paper currencies have denominations, so does CloudCoin. 1s, 5s, 25s, 100s and 250s. Denominations makeCloudCoins more efficient. CloudCoin denominations can be exchanged for smaller denominations when change is needed.

CloudCoin Wallet: The name of this software program. It is a simple, easy to understand name in all languages.


Coin: In the context of this manual, Coin is exclusively used as an abbreviation of CloudCoin. We are only talking about the CloudCoin Currency.

Counterfeit Coin: Any CloudCoin that does not have the most recent Authenticity number that has been recorded on the RAIDA. Once a Coin has been powned the Authenticity number changes. This previous copy of the Coin is now Counterfeit and cannot be spent again with this old Authenticity number.

.Csv file: 'Comma Separated Variable'. This is the file type usedto export your transaction history. It is then importable into spreadsheet programs such as Excel.

Detection Agent: Any one of up to 800 separate computers that detect Authentic CloudCoins and reject Counterfeit Coins.

DNS: Domain Name System. A supreme data structure that the internet uses. This system is so secure it has never gone down since it was created in 1985.

Echo RAIDA: Checks your connection to the Counterfeit Detection System, the RAIDA.

Export File: Data that is exported from a computer software program or the computer itself. In this context, we are talking about Coins, history, and lists. Coins when ‘Transferred’ from a Wallet to ‘local filesystem' can also be thought of as an exported file.

Fix Fracked: The process of fixing a Fracked Coin. This process is described in Section 2-4.

Folder: Also known as a directory. Digital compartments on a computer or storage device where files are organized and stored.

Fracked: Also known as fractured. A Coin can become Fracked when a RAIDA Cloud does not respond during a pown request. The Fracked Coin can later be fixed. In fact, this is part of the whole system’s self-healing process. It is a normal occurrence to have some Fracked Coins at times.

ID. Coin (also called CloudCoin ID) A CloudCoin can be used as a key to access to something. In this case, the ID. Coin is used as a key to your Sky Wallet(s). It will remain a CloudCoin. This Coin is stored in the 'ID.' folder in your CloudCoin Walletfolder. Do not move this Coin out of the ID. folder. Only makecopies of it and store them securely. Do not spend this Coin.It is what makes your Sky Wallet work.

Local: To be right here on your computer versus somewhere remotely, such as ‘the cloud' or the internet.

Local Wallet: (also just called 'Wallet' for short) A collection of folders and files generated by this software and stored locally on your computer to organize and manage your local CloudCoins.

Node: Any One Detection Agent computer server on the RAIDA decentralized network.


.Pdf file: Stands for 'Portable Document Format.' It is a prevalentdocument type. It is readable with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Most computers have a reader pre-installed and ready to go. Most internet browsers can also read .pdf files.

Pown: Short for Password-Own. This is the process where this Wallet software automatically changes the Authenticity number (password) to a new password and records it in the RAIDA.This is how a Coin will move from one user to another but cannotbe re-spent by the previous owner. The password has changed.

Pown your Coins once a every four (4) years if you are storing them long term. It is essential to do this less than every Five (5)years, or the RAIDA administrators will think that they have been lost. This is done by depositing your Coins into your CloudCoin Wallet. If they are in the CloudCoin Wallet already, transfer them out as a file and re-deposit them into the CloudCoin Wallet.

RAIDA: (Redundant Array of Independent Detection Agents)The Counterfeit detection system used by CloudCoin. It is made up of 25 independent RAIDA network administrators (Sentinels) which guard as many as 800 Independent Detection Agents. The RAIDA was designed to be a Global Counterfeit detection system. It can detect the authenticity of a CloudCoin in less than a second.

Request Change Service: This is the Change-Maker that has been integrated into the CloudCoin Wallet program. This allows you to have the correct change for every transaction that you havesufficient funds for. If you do not have the correct denominations of CloudCoin to complete a transaction, this function will make the change automatically for you from a trusted change server.

Sentinels: The computer systems that hide and protect the 800 Detection Agents. They use what is called 'Reverse Proxies' or 'Tunneling' to conceal the location of the Detection Agents.

Serial Number: This number is part of the CloudCoin that does not change in a CloudCoin during a Pown. Each CloudCoinhas its own serial number.

Sky Wallet: This is an Ultra Private and Secure way to receive CloudCoins over the internet. To create a Sky Wallet, you will need one CloudCoin to use as an ID Coin. Sending CloudCoins to or receiving CloudCoins from someone else using the Sky Wallet service ensures that they are authentic Coins and that the other person is not lying. Sky Wallet service operates through the service called Teleport now, which is a supreme data structure just like the RAIDA and the DNS. You also can store some of your CloudCoins in a Sky Wallet.

skywallet.cc: This is a DNS Name (domain name) used for the Sky Wallet Service.

Transfer: To move CloudCoins out of the app so you can spend them. To move CloudCoins between Wallets or from a Wallet to a Sky Wallet. To move CloudCoins from a Wallet to other storage such as a computer or a USB Stick.

Trusted Server: A known trusted remote computer that can be relied upon to complete a required task.

. Stack file: A file type that can hold CloudCoins. These files are stored in the CloudCoin wallet. Stack files are deposited, transferred, or exported to transport and transact CloudCoins.


USB Stick: A USB drive, thumb drive, memory stick computer storage device that plugs into a USB port on your computer.

Vault folder: This is the folder where your Password protected (Vaulted) Coins are stored.

Wallet: (Also called “Local Wallet”) In the context of this guide, Wallet refers to a collection of folders and files generated by this software and stored locally on your computer to organize and manage your CloudCoins. Wallet, in this context, does NOT refer to any other type of wallets such as cryptographic wallets as those related to bitcoin or other blockchain cryptocurrencies.

Wallet Email Recovery: You will be asked for an email address during the creation of a Wallet. A code based on your email address is placed in the CloudCoins so they can be recovered by email if lost.

NOTE: The Email Recovery feature is not ready for use. The Consortium may use RAIDAmail for fast secure, recovery, instead of standard email. For now, you will need to file a lost coin report and wait up to five (5) years to recover lost coinsfrom the date they were last powned.

Wallet Folders: Also called Client Folders. See Client Folders.

Wallet Password: Your password allows for your Wallet to be encrypted. The strength of the encryption depends on the strength of your password. Write your passwords down and store them in a very secure location or remotely with an encrypted storage service such as : Secure Safe.com

Any Coins that are protected using a Wallet Password will be stored in the Vault folder. Password protected Coins cannot be powned by anyone without the password. If you lose your password, you will need to recover your coins by filing a lost coin report and you will need to wait up to five years to recover them from the RAIDA. Be sure to create lists of all serial numbers of your CloudCoins.

To file a lost CloudCoin report Go to:Lost Coin report.

You will need your serial numbers of all lost coins. A Proton Mail.com email address is strongly recommended to file a lost Coin report.


Updates & Changes in this VersionAnd Recent Versions

2.1.18: Sky wallets are re-initiated after a coin is dropped in the ID folder. 'Continue' button is disabled Bug fix: If there was a transfer to SkyWallet and ID coin was counterfeit - the program could freeze or show incorrect message. Fixed

2.1.17: Timestamps removed from files where unnecessary. Sensitive info is no longer added to main.log. An auto-correct transaction feature added if there is a discrepancy between wallet and wallet amount. Add existing SkyWallet screen was changed so user can directly move an existing Sky Wallet ID Coin. Errors that caused app freezing were fixed.

2.1.16: Program will require 23 of the 25 RAIDA clouds to respond for ShowChange and ShowEnvelopeCoins. Change transfer service has been improved.

2.1.15: More improvements made to the new change service. Cache and echo improvements were made for a better user experience. ID. Coin is frack checked before use and is validated before each Sky Wallet transaction. A new icon displays in the top bar of the program, also displays in the task bar when program is open. Creating ability to export more detailed information from a Sky Wallet.

2.1.14: Changes were made to improve functionality; a new improved change service and a settings tool was added to give the user control of setting timeouts and paths. Older logs in Main log file can now be overwritten.


System Requirements and Install

You Must Have the Most Current Version of Java Runtime Environment

Your Windows computer may require the ‘run as administrator’ function to be manually set for Java. It is best to go through the steps listed on thenext page in this guide to be sure this Java setting is correct.

After download, it is wise to store the CloudCoin Wallet programout of the way such as in your Windows user account folder.

Then create a shortcut of your CloudCoin Wallet program.

Right-click to on the CloudCoin Wallet program and Select ‘Create a shortcut.’

You can drag and drop this shortcut to a menu on your computer or to your desktop for your convenience.


1. Install or Update Java

To Operate CloudCoin Wallet on Windows, you will need to have Java Runtime Environment installed. If you do not have Java or your version is out-of-date, you will need to go to:Java.com

Select the appropriate download needed for your operating system and install it.

2. Run as Administrator

Locate java.exe first. The fastest way to locate java.exe is just to type it into your Windows system’s search bar.

Then click on ‘Run as administrator.’You can also Right-Click directly on the java.exe icon, click Run as administrator.

3. Ready to Begin

Finally, double click on the CloudCoin Wallet app or the shortcut you created to start CloudCoin Wallet. Confirm the Terms and Conditions. Now we are ready to begin.


SECTION 1: Wallets, Sky Wallets, Deposits & Transfers

1-1 Creating a Wallet (Local Wallet)

The first screen you will come to after the User Agreement is to Create a Wallet. You must have at least one Wallet to use any features in this program. Think of a Wallet name. You can add a Wallet Password to protect your Coins from theft. Store your password securely. The Recovery by Email feature is non-functioning and is still under development. The Consortium may use RAIDAmail for fast secure, recovery. For now, lost Coins will need to be recovered by filing a Lost Coin Report.

1-2 Deposit CloudCoins into a Wallet

Deposit just a few Coins into your Wallet, to begin with until you become familiar with this software. You can add Coins to your Wallet from any CloudCoin file. The CloudCoin Wallet will accept CloudCoins as stack or Jpeg (.jpg) files. In this case, we will deposit stack files from a USB Stick. First, click on the Deposit menu. Then directly drag and drop the CloudCoin files or click inside the dotted box to open the file’s location in the popup window. Continue. Do not close the window until the Deposit is complete.


1-3 Create A Sky Wallet

A Sky Wallet is an ultra-secure way to send and receive CloudCoins over the internet without sending files or attachments in emails. You can create your own Sky Wallet by depositing a CloudCoin which becomes the Sky Wallet ID. In this way, a CloudCoin's globally unique properties are used as a vehicle to transport Coins from senders to receivers securely. After the CloudCoin becomes the Sky Wallet ID., it is still stored on your computer. It is always a CloudCoin.

To Create: Click on ‘Create New.’ (Click NO in the Dark version) Choose DNS name of a trusted server (skywallet.cc). Enter your proposed address you would like. Example: happy54.skywallet.cc In order to create a Sky Wallet, you must first choose a CloudCoin to be used as an ID. It is not necessary to use anything larger than a One (1) CloudCoin denomination. When creating a new Sky Wallet, a popup window from your Local Wallet will open. You need to select a Coin the wallet because they were pownedauthentic. Click open, then click any Wallet in the Wallets List to refresh. Your Sky Wallet should now be viewable.

You can now transact with your Sky Wallet in the ‘Transfer’ menu. Details of the contents will be viewable in the Wallets List.

1-4 Transferring Coins To A Sky Wallet

You will have the ability to transfer Coins to any Sky Wallet that you choose. This is an excellent way to send the utmost secure and private payments possible to anyone that has a Sky Wallet. All you need is the receiver's Sky Wallet address. The address must be entered correctly, or it is possible the payment could go to someone else. Example: happy54.skywallet.cc

Select ‘Transfer From,’ choose a Wallet. Select ‘transfer to,’ enter a Sky Wallet name. Enter the amount and a memo, then continue and complete the transaction. Refer to the screenshot below for an example.

You can transfer CloudCoins out of your CloudCoin Wallet as a local file. This can be a file in a folder on your computer or an external storage device such as a USB stick or external hard drive. To do this, select ‘Transfer From’ the Wallet you want to get your Coins from. Then select ‘Transfer To,’ select ‘Local Folder.’ Choose the destination in your local filesystem where you want your CloudCoin transfer to be saved. This will create one stack file which will contain one or more CloudCoins.


1-6 Transferring Coins Between Wallets and Sky Wallets

Now that you have some Coins in a Sky Wallet, you can practice moving them back to the Wallet on your computer.

The process of moving Coins from one Local Wallet or Sky Wallet to another Local Wallet or Sky Wallet is simple. Select the ‘Transfer From’ and ‘transfer to’ Wallets. Again, you will have to enter the password for each Wallet that is password protected if you choose to use password protection. Follow the directions to finish the transfer. You will notice the balances have changed in the Wallets from figure 1-6 a to 1-6b.

Note: It is now possible to transfer CloudCoins between two Sky Wallets.

The 'Total Coins' displayed on the top menu bar shows all Coins present in both the Wallets on your device and the Coins that are present in your Sky Wallets you have set up in this program. When you click on any Wallet displayed in the left side, you will see that Wallet's transaction history of deposits, withdraws and balance.


1-7 Printing & Exporting History

Click on the Wallet you would like to display the history of. You can choose to print or export the history or both. Choose your printer. You can also choose to create a .Pdf file of the history if your print menu has that option.

Exporting history: Choose the location you would like to save your history too. History can be exported as a CSV (comma separated variable) file. The csv file can be imported to spreadsheets such as Excel and various other programs.

1-8 Depositing A Backup File

Restoring a Backup file is as simple as any Deposit. If you need to restore a Backup first go into the Deposit menu and select your Backup file from your file system or external storage. Then Deposit the Backup as you would any other CloudCoin file. Be aware that any Coins that are already in the CloudCoin Wallet will display as ‘Previously Imported Coins.’ Any Coins in the Backup that you have spent or re-powned since the Backup was created will display as Counterfeit after the Deposit is completed. In the screenshot above, No Coins were imported because they were already present in a Wallet.


1-9 Making Change (automatic function)

The Change-Maker is completely private and secure. It will enable you to have the exact change you need for every transaction completed with the CloudCoin Wallet. The CloudCoin denominations are exchanged using the new Make Change Service based in the RAIDA.

The make change service operates automatically in the background if the need arises to make change. Example: You have a five CloudCoin denomination, and you want to make a payment of four CloudCoins. If your transaction requires change, this function will get you the exact change you need automatically.

It is now possible to make change during any Local Wallet or Sky Wallet transfers. You can also export exact change as a CloudCoin file to local filesystem.

It is no longer necessary to first create a Sky Wallet in order to use the Make Change service. Making change is now completely independent of the Sky Wallet.


SECTION 2: Tools Menu

This section is a brief overview of each of the tools in the tool menu and their functions.See the screenshot above. Read the list of eight tools we will be going over in this section.


2-1 Creating a CloudCoin Backup File

This tool makes it easy to create one or more Backups of the Coins stored in any Wallet on your computer. This differs from an export in that a Backup is a copy of Coins that are still in the Bank folder of the chosen Wallet. Backup Files must be kept safe just like any other Authentic CloudCoin file.

The Backup file may take a little time to be created. It will take longer if you are backing up many CloudCoin files.Please wait for it to complete.

Select the Wallet you want to back up, then select or create a folder that is the location where you want to store your Backup file. A single stack file will be created. The filename will show the number of Coins contained and that it is a Backup file. Example: 2540.CloudCoin. BACKUP.stack You may want to keep track of the Wallet each Backup is from, its origin or purpose, etc.


2-2 List Serial Numbers

It is essential to list the Serial Numbers of all your CloudCoins from time to time. The serial number list can be used to file a Lost Coin Report. You may need your Serial Numbers someday if you lose your Coins somehow. This makes it possible to file a Lost Coin Report. The recovery period for lost coins is now five (5) years after the month they were last powned.

This list can be printed on paper or saved as a file or both. See the illustration below: Screenshot 2-2.

2-3 Clear History

When you clear the history, it will remove all history from ALL Wallets Permanently. If history is not desired, you can delete it as often as you want. If you have an old Wallet that is empty and not being used; it would be better to delete that Wallet than clear allthe history if you still need some history. Doing so will delete the history of that Wallet only and Will Not interfere with the history of other Wallets. If you do decide to delete all history, make sure you have previously printed a hard copy or exported the history that you need. After deleting history, an ‘Opening Balance’ will be posted in each wallet to display the starting Coin count.


2-4 Fix Fracked

What is a Fracked Coin?

Sometimes all the RAIDA are not available during a pown, and the Coins become Fracked. This means that one or more of the RAIDA think the Coin is Counterfeit. Fracked Coins will be fixed using the Frack Fix process. Usually, this process happens automatically. Sometimes the process cannot finish because one of the RAIDA is unavailable. In this case, you can fix Fracked later when the RAIDA is up and working.

This is the beautiful self-repairing process of CloudCoins and the RAIDA network. No other currency can do this. You can think of it like growing back new skin to replace damaged skin.

Only the Wallets that have Fracked Coins will display in the drop-down list when you want to Fix Fracked Coins. If the Wallet is not on the list, then it does not have Fracked Coins to fix.


2-5 Delete Wallet

If you decide that a Wallet is no longer needed, you can delete it. You can only delete empty Wallets. Deleting a Wallet is Permanent and Irreversible.

WARNING: If you decide to delete a Sky Wallet, you may lose that Sky Wallet name permanently. The DNS record associated with your Sky Wallet ID. Coin will be deleted and the ID. Coin will be deposited into your CloudCoin Wallet. The DNS record will no longer exist, so a different user would be able to choose your deleted Sky Wallet name.

Be sure that you do not have other Sky Wallets associated with the same ID. Coin. It is strongly recommended to use a separate ID.Coin for each Sky Wallet, even though an ID. Coin can support an infinite number of Sky Wallets.

If you were to delete a Sky Wallet that was sharing an ID. Coin with other Sky Wallets, the other Sky Wallets would be deactivated because of your shared ID. Coin would be powned when it is deposited back into a Local Wallet. It would then be difficult to locate this Coin if you still needed it. Therefore, we recommend a unique CloudCoin as an ID. Coin for each Sky Wallet.


2-6 Show Folders

This allows you to see where your files are. Displays the path in the Client Folders to each of your Wallets. Clicking the link will open the location of your Wallets on your computer. There is one for each Wallet. If you need a copy of an ID. Coin, for another purpose, create a Copy of the ID. Coin, do not take the original. ID. Coins are in the ‘ID’ folder inside your ‘Cloud Coin Wallet’ folder

DO NOT: Spend the ID. 2-7 Echo RAIDA

This shows the state of the RAIDA. Uptime is over 99.9%. However, sometimes network routers (especially at your workspace) may block your access. Echo RAIDA will allow you to see the connections. Echo RAIDA will tell you if a RAIDA Cloud is ready or momentarily unavailable, displayed as: FAILED if there are more than three failed RAIDA, your transaction Will Not process to keep your Coins safe. It also shows the response time of each RAIDA Cloud in seconds or less.


2-8 SETTINGS

‘Settings’ is a new tool in the Tools Menu. It is under development and will have more features added as they become available.

- Timeouts: Most tasks are expected to complete in a few seconds. If you have a poor internet connection, you may need to increase your timeouts. Timeouts are for Echo RAIDA, Send/Receive Coins, Detect (pown), and Fixing Fracked.

- Max Notes: This is the maximum amount of CloudCoin files you will import or process at one time. If you have a poor internet connection, this maximum amount can be set lower. It is preset at 400.

- DDNS Server:(Dynamic Domain Name System) A server that allows a user to automatically associate a CloudCoin (ID. Coin) that they are using as their address with a friendly username such as "Bill.Skywallet.cc". The DDNS server can be changed when different domains become available. For now, there is only one DDNS server.

- Export Folder: This is a destination folder you can pre-set so all exported CloudCoin files will be easy for you to find.

Scrolling the Wallets List

While using certain laptops equipped with a touchpad, you may need to move your pointer to the left panel and click between two of the wallets in the list to activate the wallets list. Then you can scroll your list up and down using either the arrow keys or the page up / page down keys on your keyboard. You can also plug in a mouse and use it to scroll the list either by left clicking and dragging the mouse or by using the top mouse wheel if your mouse is equipped with one.

Balances not displaying correctly

If you encounter the problem of balances not displaying correctly after a transaction, simply close and restart the CloudCoin Wallet program to refresh the wallet list. This occurrence is being eliminated in the newer versions.

Deposit from Sky Wallet

‘Deposit’ from Sky Wallet will not allow a user to select exact quantities of Coins. Use the ‘Transfer’ function instead to move your desired quantity of Coins to or from a Sky Wallet. Sky Wallet deposit function is expected to be eliminated from the Deposit menuand the Deposit menu will only be used to deposit coins from the filesystem into the CloudCoin Wallet app.
