Walking directions Terminal A at SJC Airport to Doubletree 1) When exiting security in Terminal A, start by heading toward baggage claim but do not go over the skybridge as directed to baggage claim. (If you get to baggage claim you went too far. Go back, i.e., up escalator, across skybridge.) 2) As soon as you see the lines of passengers in the security screening area, bear right (coming out of security) and go down the escalator (follow signs to ticketing & checkin). The goal is to get down to street level on the same side you arrived at = same side as ticketing (opposite side from baggage claim). 3) Go out the doors to the street and walk to the right (in direction traffic flows) past international terminal. 4) Go across the crosswalk to parking lot under freeway. You should be close to Airport Parkway (perpendicular to the street you walk on when coming out of Terminal A) when you cross the street in the crosswalk 5) Go through the parking lot forward and to right to Airport Parkway. 6) Stay on left (Doubletree) side of Airport Parkway and walk straight (under freeway, over Guadalupe River, past entrance to Guadalupe River Trail) to intersection of Airport Parkway and Gateway Place. 7) Cross Gateway place and go left to entrance to Doubletree, which is at the corner of this intersection. Map on the next page. Walk time from Terminal A is 10-15 minutes. From Terminal B you will actually be closer to the crosswalk (Step 4) and I think you will turn left rather than right when you go out, but I have not been inside Terminal B so don’t really know.
