PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Hard to believe that the first month of 2020 is already behind us. We have had a great month of 2020. Students and teachers are working hard and we see much progress in every classroom! Even though this winter is unusually calm, please be sure to watch the weather reports as many students are coming to school without coats needed for the weather. Our 5/6th grade girls basketball teams are hard practicing for their first game. The Mother-daughter games were a lot of fun. Good luck to both teams as they get ready for their season. I know the big question on everyone's mind is eLearning. We are planning to host an eLearning meeting on February 10th in our cafeteria to try to answer any questions you may have about eLearning. Please know that if there is no device at home (or no internet available) there will be a paper/pencil option for every student. PARKING LOT ISSUES I want to remind all that DROP OFF in the morning is in the North Parking Lot. We have a few that drop off in the South parking lot and this is causing some dangerous situations with our buses. Many park and walk their child in, this is acceptable, however, please be sure to park in the back lot. Thank you. "YOU CAN DO MORE GOOD BY BEING GOOD, THAN ANY OTHER WAY." As a result of this and conversations with the Education Association and School Board, we have

decided to hold a pre-planned eLearning/distance learning day on February 17, 2020. This is a

scheduled snow make-up day. If we do not miss any school by February 17, 2020, school will be

out of session and we will move the pre-planned eLearning day to another date.

your money by Friday, February 7th. Valentines will be sent

home on Thursday, February 13th.
