iTEXTURE AND STRUCTURE
-predominantly boulders fc sand-broke casing near bedrock, reset-casing left in hoi*
Variolitic, pillowed Mafic Volcanic
-nad. to dark green and gray-locally sheared along pillow salvages but weakfol'n overall-upper portion of unit to approximately 70m showsstrong pillow development with hyaloclastiteselvages-S-7% buff white varioles concentrated aroundpillow margins are l-3mm in diameter and oftencoalesced into large masses throughout unit-locally amygdular with large lot calcite filled.irregular amygdules
-below 70m pillow structures decrease inabundance and become nore discreet-unit remains variolitic over discreet 10-15cmintervals along pillow margins-vague mottled textures locally
Fine-grained,Amygdular Massive Mafic Volcanic
-dark green to gray-weakly fol'd overall
-relatively featureless except for cross-cuttingcalcite veining-extremely fine-grained, aphanitic unit-weak mottled texture locally as seen inoverlying unit-rare in-situ bx'd textures sporadicallythroughout-lowermost 10m of "" '' j below approximately 127munit becomes slightly more in-situ bx'd andcontains calcite filled amygdules up to lcm indiameter-downhole tops?
Pillowed Mafic Volcanic
-med- green to more buff/tan towards lower
portion of unit
ANGLETO CA ALTERATION
strong fracture controlled calcite+X- quart* veining-weakly chloritic selvages
-minor calcite veining but unit is notpervasively carbonate altered asoverlying unit-rare 'gash' chlorite fracture
-mod. to strong pervasive carbonatealteration with associatedcalcite/quartz veining-chloritic pillow selvages
MINERALIZATION
-tr. difls. to fracture controlled Py
-tr. Py-2mm Po seam within calcite vein at89.5m contains tr. exsoved Cpy

TEXTURE AND STRUCTURE
-weakly to nod. fol'd at 40-45deg. TGA
-somewhat arbitrary contact placed at firstappearance of identifiable pillow selvage-fine-grained, aphanitic unit overall with *:14l-2mm calcite amygdule*-pillow selvage structures are well defined andare from l-2cm in width displaying fine.chloritic hyalclastite interiors
-below 160m unit becomes buff/tan in colourpossibly due to carbonate alteration
-short interflow breccia/ fragmental intervalbetween 171. 3-171. 6m consists of subangular maficclasta *lcm in diameter set in an argillaceous/tuffaceous matrix
Mafic Breccia
-pala brown/buff-weakly fol'd but strongly bx'd
-distinctive unit due to angular fragmental/breccia textures high-lighted by dark blackargillaceous matrix matrix-mafic fragments >lm in diameter with more finelybrecciated/hyaloclaatitic? mater ail alongmargins
consting of brecciated mafic material andargillaceous, aedimetart infill material-argillaceous component is weakly conductive butvery dark black in appearance
-weakly developed variolitic textures visiblewith and along margins of some breccia fragments
Felsic to Intermediate Tuffaceous
-dark gray to black-weakly fol'd at SOdeg. TCA
-grainy textured tuffaceous /sedimentary unitconsisting predominantly ash-sized mafic material
ANGLE!TO CX j ALTERATION
-weak pervasive and fracturecontrolled carbonate

TEXTURE AND STRUCTURE
but with a-3% l-2mm felsic lapilli?-vague outlines of some larger 10- 2 Ocm maficclast* but these nay b* du* to patchy/ irregularalteration
-short interval, essentially a fault zone butstrongly graphitic /conduct i ve-likely a fault along an interflow sediment-strong qtz/earb wining leading into unit withinoverlying unit
-source of weak HLEM conductor
Mafic Volcanic Breccia
-pale brown to buff/tan-weakly foliated
-similar to breccia uphole between 174 -185mhowever with slightly less distinct fragmentoutlines-breccia defined by irregular cone ofhyaloclastite and dull gray calcite/qtz veining-minor argillaceous material infilling brecciainterstices-internally mafic fragments are. fine-grained.aphanatic
Massive, In-situ Brecciated Mafic Volcanic
pale greenish brown to buff-mod to strong fol'n is highlighted by lowcore-axis angles in core
largely arbitrary uphole contact based on end ofdistinct brecciated textures and start of ropey', f low- textur ed brecciation-cor* axis angles become very poor abruptly whichnay account for change in appearance of breccia
textures-CA angles typically -;15-20deg.-unit becomes grainy textured with 'ropey 1appearance, possibley flow-induced brecciatextures-very weak/vague 'fragmental' textures locallyhowever this is also likely due low CA angles
ANGLE TO Cfc ALTERATION
-strongly carbonate altered
-mod. fracture controlled calcite/quartz veining-weak to moderate wispy, anastomosingyellow sericite bands
