Date- 11-17/10/2011

Departure Time and point- 0900, North Wagga Hall Vehicle Numbers Max 10 Min 1(us) Trip Description - This trip is to the home of the Yowie, (the real one) the Pilliga Scrub north of Coonabarabran. On the way we will stay at Goobang NP near Peak Hill for 2 nights then onto The Pilliga where we will probably stay for 3 maybe 4 nights. From here we might go to Mt Kaputar NP west of Narrabri depending on what there is to see etc. Helen and I will then head to Port Macquarie, Nelsons Bay and home somehow. Anyone is welcome to do all or any part of this trip. Trip Grading: [See Below) Dry 1 Wet 4 Suited for Camper Trailers. Yes Full time driving- No Fuel required- Full Tank Club gear required- Nil. Personal Equipment- UHF, 1st Aid kit, recovery equipment. Comments- Times and dates need to be flexible TRIP GRADING: (Conditions may change during the trip)

1. Very easy with little if any 4WDriving. Usually a scenic tour.

2. 2Easy 4WD trip. Winching and/or towing unlikely.

3. 3Medium 4WD trip. Requires a capable vehicle, cautious driving and basic 4WDriving skills. Winching should not be required.

4. 3Moderately difficult with some winching and/or towing a possibility. Good 4WDriving skills and a capable vehicle required.

5. Extremely difficult, Participants must be experienced at travelling over difficult terrain. Winching and/or towing highly likely.

NOTES:

6. Intending participants must inform the trip leader by the Wednesday before departure.

7. All vehicles to carry basic recovery equipment and have recovery points front and rear.

8. Trip rules are to be followed.

9. Because of the nature of activities undertaken, there is always the possibility of personal injury or vehicle damage. All participants have a responsibility to maintain safety at all times.

10. Responsibility of a vehicle driver: It shall be the sole responsibility of each vehicle driver to decide whether or

not to start or continue to participate in the trip. It is recommended that advice is sought from the trip leader

It has been suggested that it is time we had another fishing trip. The first weekend of Nov looks pretty good. I am happy to hear suggestions of a good destination – Burrinjuck? Blowering? Mulwala? Eucembene? Coast? – there are lots of options. I think heading off Friday pm to set up camp would be good (some of us may go earlier). There are a number of members with boats with room for some members without boats. If I can get an idea of who might be interested then we can firm up plans then.

Departure Time and point- 9:00am, O’Halloran Park, cnr Lake Albert Road and Lakeside Drive. Vehicle Numbers Max 30 Min 3 Trip Description An observation rally around the Wagga Wagga district. Approximately 150km.

Trip Grading: [See Below] If really wet 4 If Dry 1 Camping - no Suited for Camper Trailers - yes Full time driving - yes. Fuel required – Allow for 300km Club gear required - Nil Personal Equipment – Digital camera, navigator/co-driver, calculator, UHF, 1st Aid kit, recovery equipment, chair, morning tea, lunch Comments – No special driving skills required – just the ability to follow instructions from your navigator/co-driver. You will need a digital camera to validate your arrival at some checkpoints. There are electric BBQs at the end of the drive which should be at lunchtime. TRIP GRADING: (Conditions may change during the trip)
