What’s Web 2.0?What’s Web 2.0?
Web “1.0” Based on html Pages static and usually required the use of
expensive software on the computer Uses for writing were mostly limited to text-both
synchronous and asychronous (i.e., threaded discussion groups, bulletin boards, etc.)
Web “2.0” Interactive, provides users with tools to create and
maintain personalized E.g., use of wikis, blogs, social networking sites,
podcasts, YouTube, Skype, various other audio & visual media, customized news feeds, and more.
