DRAWING NOTES:

THE PIPEWORK SIZE IS GENERIC AND NOT THAT OF A PARTICULAR MANUFACTURERS

RANGE, UNLESS SPECIFIED.

PRESSURE TESTING SHOULD BE CARRIED AFTER LAYING THE PIPEWORK. ALL UFH PIPE

TO FLOOR FIXING / SCREEDING. PRESSURE TEST SHOULD BE LEFT UNTIL CONNECTION TO

THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING PIPEWORK SHOULD NOT BE LAID BELOW A ROOM TEMPERATURE

OF 0`C. WE WOULD ALSO NOT RECOMMNED THAT SCREEDS ARE LAID WHERE THE ROOM

TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 5 degC.

CURING TIMES OF ALL SCREEDS SHOULD BE ON THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE SCREEDER.

ONCE THE CURING PERIOD HAS BEEN ACHIEVED, THE FLOW WATER SHOULD BE SET

AT APPROX 25 degC AND RAISED 5`C EVERY OTHER DAY UNTIL THE DESIGN FLOW

TEMPERATURE IS REACHED.. THIS PROCESS THEN SHOULD BE REPEATED BY REDUCING

THE FLOW TEMPERATURE BACK DOWN TO 25`C.

IF TIMBER FLOORING IS TO BE LAID UPON HEATED SCREEDS, THESCREED MUST BE CURED

AND CONDITIONED PREVIOUSLY TO MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS. IT IS NOT

RECOMMENDED TO LAY NATURAL WOOD FLOOR COVERINGS THAT MAY HAVE A MOSITURE

CONTENT EXCEEDING 8-9% (BY VOLUME) AS THE RISK OF WARPING AND SHRINKAGE

DAMAGE WILL BECOME UNACCEPTABLE.

IF CARPET IS TO BE USED AS THE FINAL FLOOR COVERING IT IS IMPORTANT THAT

THE THERMAL RESISTANCE OF THE UNDERLAY DOES NOT EXCEEDA TOG RATING OF 1 - 1.5.

ANYTHING ABOVE THIS RATING WILL AFFECT THE HEAT OUTPUT FROM THE UNDERFLOOR

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN THE DESIGN NOT

BEING MET OR EVEN DAMAGE TO THE FLOOR COVERINGS

FLOW RATES AND PRESSURE DROPS ON DRAWING GIVEN PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF

SYSTEM ARE BASED UPON STANDARD DESIGNS AND CIBSE GUIDELINES..

AIR TEMPERATURE THERMOSTATS ARE TO BE POSITIONED APPROXIMATELY 1.6M FFL,

AND SHOULD AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT IF POSSIBLE..POSITIONS ON DRAWINGS ARE ONLY

ALL HOLES TO BE CUT PRIOR TO START OF UFH INSTALLATION. ALL HOLES TO BE

CUT ACCORDING TO DIMENSIONS SHOWN ON SCHEDULE, AND 50MM (OR THICKNESS OF

INSULATION) FROM BASE OF WALL.

THE TEST HAS BEEN COMPLETED.

SHOULD NOT EXCEED 1 BAR (AIR) OR BETWEEN 3 AND 4 BAR (WATER) PRIOR

PIPEWORK:

WE WOULD RECOMMEND THAT SCREEDS SHOULD BE COVERED IF HEAVY EQUIPMENT IS

TO BE USED, SUCH AS MOBILE TOWERS, OR VEHICLED TRAFFIC.

WOODEN FLOORS:

CARPETS AND UNDERLAYS:

HEATING SYSTEM.. CONFIRMATION FROM THE MANUCTURER / INSTALLER SHOULD IS

RECOMMENDED.

UNDERFLOOR HEATING :

ALL UNDERFLOOR CIRCUITS ARE INDICATIVE LAYOUTS AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO SITE

CONDITIONS. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT SHOULD FIXINGS BE REQUIRED WITHIN THE

SCREED, THAT THEY ARE MARKED OUT PRIOR TO THE UNDERFLOOR HEATING.

INDICATIVE AND EXACT MARKING OUT SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT ON SITE.

ALL FITTING AND WIRING SHOULD BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SITE ELECTRICIAN.

ALL WIRING DIAGRAMS ARE CORRECT AT TIME OF DRAWING ISSUE, BUT IT IS THE

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ELECTRICIAN TO MAKE SURE ALL ITEMS ARE CORRECTLY INSTALLED.
