For sometime correctional administers have collected and used information about the inmate population and their needs to plan, design and manage their facilities.
It has become clear to us that collecting and sharing this information with the courts and other law enforcement agencies can benefit everyone

• Our report provides a snapshot of the jail’s population on one day (December 8, 2010)
• This information can be used as a possible management tool to evaluate operational productivity

• Female Inmates in Calcasieu Parish are about 19.3% of the inmate population
