Homework PolicyEach Monday, beginning mid-August, students

will bring home a poly-envelope which will be their homework folder. Homework will include at-home reading and math. Homework folders should be returned each day. At-home reading is to be done each night. There will be a reading log included that must be signed each night. Math homework will begin to be sent home after Labor Day. Students will know the homework routine through in-class practice throughout the first month of school. Math homework is expected to be returned each Friday morning. Students following all homework policies each week will be in the homework club. At the end of the month students in the homework club will receive a special reward!

Field TripsOur first grade team is currently

brainstorming field trip opportunities for this school year! Chaperones will be permitted, but must have a background check on file with the school front office. In addition, to keep cost as cheap as possible on field trips, parents are asked to follow the school buses to our destination and/or meet us there.
