Introduction to VVK Machinery

We are pleased to introduce ourselves, as VVK Machinery & Equipment (Pvt) Ltd., who are a subsidiary

of the V V KARUNARATNE group of companies. We have imported and supplied, a range of

machinery and equipment, ranging from, heavy duty graders, rollers, pay loaders / back hoe

loaders, in addition to Tractors and Hand tractors with all the requisite spare parts for the machines

thus imported by us and supplied to our clients.

Further, we have a well-equipped work shop at 579, Kandy Road Dalugama , Kelaniya with qualified,

experienced personnel headed by our mechanical engineers, who carry out repairs from major

overhauling of engines and hydraulic systems to fabrication of rapid consumable spare parts.

The large customer base includes government departments, such as the army, navy and air force, local

government bodies, and many private sector companies. We currently function as the accredited

Agents for the following u international machinery related organizations, since 2005:

Our parent company, V.V. Karunaratne & Company counts over 4 decades of experience, both in

construction and commercial transport.

The construction division undertakes the construction of Roads, highways and multi storied

Buildings, and owns and operates, all types of construction machinery. Currently they hold the

prestigious C1 Grading, awarded by ICTAD (Institute for Construction & Training and Development),

which is the Governing body for the construction Industry in Sri Lanka.

The commercial transport division owns and operates the largest fleet of commercial vehicles in the

country, providing Island wide transport services with a mega fleet, of assorted transport vehicles. The

other subsidiary companies of the group which are in operation are namely:
