transparent displays - standard and interactive, which can

In a transparent display each pixel is made up of 4 sub-

pixels. Here, the colour is created using a combination of

blue, green and red sub-pixels while the remaining area of

the pixel is clear. This is what helps create the transparency.

It is because of this that there is a direct connection between

transparency and resolution. For example, if the display

contains more active pixels which create less space for clear

pixels, the image displayed will be less see through.
