Our Speciality

Glenn Kennedy Chief Executive Officer

Glenn began his career in IT in 1985 as a sales manager for Conexus, a leading consulting systems integrator for multichannel ecommerce and information management solutions. Moving on to NetStrategy in 1991, Glenn spent 17 years as COO, focusing on strategic consulting, including business plan and sales strategy development.

During this time, Glenn saw a gap in the marketplace and began to formulate a Managed Service model that could be customised to deliver a fully integrated technical solution that would work in unison with business. Glenn began VTS IT in 2008 and has since delivered his model to all types and sizes of enterprise, ranging from companies as small as 1 desktop user, through to corporations as large as 1600 users.

In October of 2013, Glenn acquired a thriving ICT business in QLD, with an impressive client list and a large sales and services team, with the purchase of an ICT company in Canberra following in early 2014. The successful novation of VTS IT onto several government procurement panels shortly afterwards has continued to build the VTS IT Group into a National Managed Service Provider for Enterprise and Government.

Glenn is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and works closely with a number of industry think-tanks and advisory panels.

Now with offices along the eastern seaboard of Australia, as well as in the ACT and Victoria, the VTS IT Group is poised to take on its position as gateway to the future of enterprise computing in the Asia Pacific Region.

Glenn is at the forefront of ‘Technology as a Service’ in Australia, and as an innovator and a visionary, Glenn’s knowledge and expertise in his field is second to none.

John Henderson Partner | General Manager QLDNational Pre-Sales Manager Head of Product Development

John has been in the IT industry since he was a teenager, and was the youngest Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in Australia at the age of 17. Focused, driven and determined to provide exceptional service to his clients, John’s career has taken him from technical work through to enterprise engineering. John is the National Presales Manager and Head of Product Development at VTS IT, and one of only a handful of HP Converged Infrastructure BPSA qualified Enterprise Solutions Architects in Queensland.

John believes in IT as an enabler for business and is passionate about technology and unleashing productivity through fully integrated technical solutions. As enterprise solutions architect and head of product development, he is always seeking better solutions for his clients.

John has been responsible for the smallest to the largest solutions offered by his company, including a national rollout and merging of IT systems for a 2,500 user firm; designing, building and installing Tele-Health systems throughout Australia and implementing Unified Communications platforms for both regional and national business. John is a member of the Australian Computer Society and was a finalist in the Young Professional ICT Awards in 2008.

An excellent basketballer in his younger days, John loves adventure and sport, and is currently working his way up to A grade in Clay Target Shooting. He has 5 beautiful children that keep him on his toes, and loves the laid back Toowoomba lifestyle.

John is highly qualified in all aspects of IT and is a proud partner and trusted advisor to all his clients. He is extremely well respected in his industry, by colleagues, partners and clients alike. John is highly motivated, deeply ethical and always the consummate professional.

Ian HurleyPartner | National Sales Manager

Ian is the National Business Development Manager and an experienced ICT Consultant with a broad skill set in many aspects of IT hardware, software solutions and integrated communications platforms. Working as an account manager in sales for an IT company in the 90’s opened his eyes to the productivity and success that an integrated solution can bring to business, and encouraged him to focus entirely on ICT consulting and building strategy for better business.

Ian’s successes are attributed to his skill at understanding and articulating his client’s requirements. He develops and maintains strong relationships with his clients and colleagues and can always be relied on. Ian has worked on a wide and varied range of projects; from small business solutions to large scale multi office consolidation projects, through to complex IP telephony roll outs.

Everything that Ian does stems from the desire to empower people and business to be the best that they can be with the use of technology.

He believes being an Integrated Solutions Provider makes it a pleasure to be in this industry, as he is a trusted advisor and business partner to his clients.
