Installation instructions for the latest VTC Players CD.

Please print these instructions before continuing.

1) The VTC Player is the interface needed to view movies from your VTC course. Open "My Computer" anright click the CD-ROM icon (usually the D: drive). Select "Explore." Drag and drop (or copy and paste) the

file labeled "VTC Player.exe" to your desktop (do not create a shortcut).

2) The VTC Player requires that QuickTime 6 or higher be installed on your system (QuickTime 7 to ensure

proper playback of captions [if available]).

Windows 7, Vista, XP (with Service Pack 2) users:

To install QuickTime, open the "QuickTime Installer" folder on the VTC Player CD and double-click on

the file "QuickTimeInstaller.exe" to put an install file on your desktop. Follow the on-screen instructions to

complete the installation.

Windows 2000 users:

Windows 2000 users will install QuickTime 7.1.6 from within QuickTimeInstaller/QT7/Win2000. Service

Pack 4 must be installed on the system to install QuickTime 7.

3) Eject the "VTC Player" CD.

4) Insert the VTC Training CD into your computer.

5) Double click to open the VTC Player that you previously copied to your desktop.
