V.T.A Road Accidents Are Avoidable Over recent years we have witnessed a growing number of unnecessary road accidents often caused by human error, mostly due to the increased number of vehicles on roads, and poor driving habits. The average currently stands at approximately 1.2 million deaths and 40 million injuries annually. The daily average is approximately 3,290 deaths and 82,190 injuries. It is indeed the world’s greatest catastrophe, and it’s taking place right in front of our eyes! The annual economic damage amounts to approximately 518 billion dollars. Funds which could have been allocated to promoting the wellbeing of the world’s population. To this we can add the immeasurable damage caused by pain: • The injured and handicapped • Parents who lose their children • Families who have lost loved ones and will never again feel happy and complete. Presenting: Vocal Traffic Alerts Technology recruited and a new invention created to decrease the number of road accidents. VTA addresses the central factors, and effects additional causes. Traffic Signs: At times a driver’s attention is diverted from the road, they may not see important traffic signs.
