UPCOMING SCHEDULE

Saturday, September 22Landmark Conference weekendElizabethtown vs. Susquehanna 1 p.m.Moravian vs. Juniata 1 p.m.Scranton vs. Catholic 1 p.m.Drew vs. Goucher 1 p.m.

Tuesday, September 25Goucher vs. Immaculata 4 p.m.Catholic vs. Mary Washington 6 p.m.Wilkes vs. Scranton 7 p.m.Drew vs. Stevens 7 p.m.

1 Elizabethtown is currently on a three-game win streak over Susquehanna and lead the all-time series, 14-10. E-town won at Selinsgrove, Pa. in 2017, 3-1, on goals by now assistant coach Megan Eppley, Emma Christman, and Madison Kubik.

2 The last time the River Hawks were at Wolf Field was 2016, twice. In the regular season matchup between the Jays and Hawks, it was a high-scoring affair that went 6-4 in Elizabethtown’s favor. That ten-goal effort did not repeat itself in the Landmark Conference Championship game at Wolf Field between the same two schools. In fact, neither team scored in regular time so overtime was needed to decide the conference champion. The Blue Jays scored 2:54 into the second overtime period for their first-ever Landmark crown.

3 Hunter Pitman scored twice for Susquehanna in the season-opener, a 3-1 win over Wilkes to advance to the championship game of their own Connie Harnum Classic. The River Hawks fell to #4 Franklin & Marshall the following day. Pitman, Gabby Martin, and Valerie Erickson were named to the All-Tournament team.

Pitman tallied twice more for SU in Thursday’s 5-0 rout of Wilson to tie for the Landmark lead in goals (6). Maddie Taylor, Sam Banks, and Heather Casey also scored in the game for the River Hawks.

4 Margo Donlin had another stand-out game for the Blue Jays in their 2-1 win over York (Pa.) on Wednesday. One of the top goalies in the Landmark, Donlin made 6 saves against the Spartans as the defense preserved the win. Donlin ranks not just in her own conference, but nationally in GAA (T30th) and save percentage (22nd). Lauren Scheib and Grace Hardy provided the goals for Elizabethtown.

5 Today’s game concludes the 4-game homestand. E-town will play at Eastern on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 4:30 p.m.
