Check Point Capsule install guide: Please, follow the next steps in order to configure VPN on Windows 10:

Open the Microsoft store. Search for and download and install the following App

“Check Point Capsule VPN”

Don’t click “Open” as you will need to create the connection manually in the following steps.

Click the Magnifying Glass icon and search for “VPN”

Click on the result that says “Change virtual private networks (VPN)” or “VPN settings” This result may vary depending on which version of Windows 10 you are running.

A new window will open, click on “Add a VPN connection”

In “VPN provider” select Check Point Capsule VPN

In “Connection name” enter MDC

In “Server name or address” enter vpn.mdc.edu

After the setup info was entered click Save

Click on the “Network Icon” The icon will vary depending on your connection type (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)

You should see an icon with the name “MDC”

click on it

It will take you to this page. Click “connect”

Under “Select authentication method” select “Username and Password”

Enter your MDC username and password, then click “OK”

When you see it says “connected” under “MDC”, that means you have successfully connected.

Don’t forget to disconnect after you are done.
