General production advice ware potatoes
VOYAGER has a long dormancy.A heat treatment is preferred to break the dormancy.Best grown on light, not too rich or even poor soils.Can be planted with small white buds but good pre-sprouting can advance the crop.Early planting is advised.
The tuberisation is late.VOYAGER has a slow emergence but foliage develops strongly at a later stage.Use products that have an effect on Alternaria solani and Alternaria alternata.Despite the good Phytophthora resistance, a regular preventive application is advised given thelong growing season.VOYAGER has a low susceptibility to common scab.VOYAGER is fairly resistant to spraing.
Ensure the crop is naturally mature before haulm killing.

Storage
VOYAGER is little susceptible to Fusarium.Ventilate regularly, but briefly, to prevent CO2 accumulation. Good to storable at constant temperature.VOYAGER has a long dormancy. Sprout inhibitors are only needed for late deliveries.
